It can be exhausting trying to stay positive when nothing seems to be going well for you in your life. It is in these times that it is very important to take care of yourself. It doesn't have to be extravagant pampering, and doesn't have to cost any money. It can be as simple as giving yourself a couple of hours to do something only for you. So try to pamper yourself in the midst of negativity, recharge and reflect on your inner strength, focus on your goals and dreams, and keep your eyes on the future. Learn from your mistakes, but don't dwell on them, and forgive yourself. Remember, nothing in this life has to be permanent.

Remember that dealing with unwanted change positively is a skill, and you have been practicing this skill your whole life. Be confident. Don’t block or fight against the emotions that arise. Channel them into something positive. Transmute them. Write a novel, run a marathon, hit the punching bag. The emotions (energy-in-motion) that arise are fuel. Anger, fear, sorrow, hatred, etc.: we are so lucky to have so much fuel. Once we are thinking clearly, have had a good cry, start guiding the new change with positive thoughts, loving thoughts. Initiate small goals and changes of your own that aim at a new destination.
