Keep a note pad and pen within easy reach of your bed. Pretty soon you’ll have yourself trained to wake up just enough to jot down the dream and what you remember. It’s so easy!
You’ll also find it very interesting that at times you’ll wake up and start your day forgetting that you wrote down your dream. Suddenly it will hit you: “Oh yeah, I wrote something down last night!” Most of the time you won’t remember the dream and you’ll have a nice surprise right there on your note pad.
Dreams can be literal or symbolic. For me, dreams are literal if they are in color. If they are black and white, then they are symbolic and I can work from that to see what they are telling me. Everyone is different but dreams are always fun and exciting to decipher.
I personally feel that the ability to dream is a gift from God. In fact, if I am not mistaken, I believe that dreams are mentioned in the Bible; 16 times in the Old Testament and a few in the New Testament as well.
Dreams are a way that nature uses to cast shadows on coming events and messages. All we have to do is pay attention and listen with our hearts and minds.
