The Mayans created quite a stir

Everyone is so afraid of the end of the world coming on December 21, 2012, all because the Mayan Calendar stops predicting what will happen. I have seen so many documentaries and read so many articles of what can happen from our appliances taking over to eat us alive to a super volcano erupting and creating a layer of ash that will kill us all. Honestly, no one will know when the end of the world will happen. If you ask me, it will happen when we least expect it.

The only prediction I felt is even remotely close is a huge solar flare from the sun hitting close to the ocean and affecting the weather on Earth. It would cause our currents to warm up and in turn create very cold weather conditions. We are already seeing pictures of solar flares from the Sun happening, and if I am correct, these flares have been happening for a couple of years now anyway.  The weather patterns have always been different each year regardless, and our Earth is built to balance its self out just as we can do with our own healing.  So it’s definitely not the end of the world!

I really feel like there is nothing to worry about. However, the “Law of Attraction” would state; if enough people are worried about the end of the world coming and putting that negative energy out into The Universe, then we are creating our own defeat before it even starts.  Therefore, it’s time to let go of all worries and fears. We will see another year!

If you are still feeling worried, the best thing you can do is be prepared for the worst. As a teacher told me (and I’ve probably written it before), “Expect nothing and accept everything.” Make sure you have plenty of food and water (enough for a couple of weeks to last through a snow storm), a means to stay warm (such as a heater, blankets, clothes, etc…). Keep plenty of candles in the house in case of a power outage for light at night. If you have pets, keep them safe since they are family too! Don’t forget they need warmth, food, and water to survive as well. Plus, keep a few good books around or board games for entertainment, and if anything does happen, enjoy your time with family!
