As a practitioner of the psychic arts, I am constantly being reminded, day after day, that it is our decisions that create the life we want. That being said, how many times have we found ourselves living a life that we truly didn’t want? Let’s be honest. How many of us are there even right now? How many of us are waking up each day to lives that we aren’t very happy with? It’s alright to admit it, and it’s alright to be honest. Maybe you find yourself facing feelings of loneliness, bitterness, anger, or even lack, and it’s just not very enjoyable.
I wanted to write to share a very simple principle that I use in my own life, which has not only changed my focus in times of uncertainty or despair but has also caused me to continually rethink the course of my life and appreciate it so much more. “I choose to be thankful.” In metaphysics, there is a concept which states that everything in the universe is composed of energy. We’ve all heard that before, at one time or another, and it’s a very simple, scientific truth. That being said, let’s get to the basics. You don’t have to have a degree in quantum-physics to begin to enjoy your life in a very real and big way right now. If everything in the universe truly is energy, then that means that, ultimately, our mindsets, attitudes, and beliefs determine what we do with the energy around us. One thing that Spirit has allowed me to teach for years is that it truly is our thoughts and attitudes that cause the pivotal moments in our lives, changing us, either for better or worse.
Maybe today, with the New Year approaching, you find yourself with more bills than money or maybe you find yourself feeling the intense loneliness and bitterness that can come from not having anyone to share your life with. Did you know that it’s possible to move beyond it? As unbelievable as that may seem right now, it really is true.
Can I share something with you that may seem even more unbelievable? It can change not weeks from now, months from now, or years from now, but instead only seconds from now. Yes, you read that correctly. In an instant, your entire life can change and you can begin to manifest the dreams, desires, and destiny that you truly want. How? By simply making the decision to be thankful. That simple shift in thinking will not only change your life but it will cause you to begin to attract much more of what you truly want. If you find yourself alone after a breakup, be thankful that you are now free to attract new people into your life. If you find yourself surrounded by a mountain a debt, be thankful that you now have the opportunity to begin making better financial choices. If you find yourself feeling a sense of loneliness or anger, be thankful that emotions come and go and that you can begin to choose to be happy.
Thankfulness is a way of life, and it changes lives for the better.
