Making time to sit down and talk with your spouse

When you're in the middle of paying bills, talking to your sibling on the phone and shooting out a work-related email, you don't have time to have a conversation with your spouse. However, failing to create opportunities to communicate regularly can negatively impact your marriage over time.

There are a few ways you can create situations for you and your partner to discuss serious topics, whether it's a relationship issue or a financial matter. Psychology Today magazine recommends waiting until all distractions are over. Don't try to multitask - dedicate time specifically for your marriage and spouse to make communication effective.

Next, make it a point to have a serious conversation routinely to ensure your relationship is in a healthy state. Waiting to address certain issues may cause stress to build up, creating tension in your marriage. This can also increase the risk of fighting once a problem is addressed.

If your spouse simply isn't the talkative type, contact a psychic line for insight into the situation. Love psychics can help you understand your spouse from his perspective, giving you guidance as you look to converse more frequently.
