Dealing With the Loss of a Mother by Psychic Nancy

Fond memories of our mothers are what keep us strong.

Fond memories of our mothers are what keep us strong.

There is no greater loss than the loss of a mother. I know this to be true as I lost my mother in 1993, and not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

It is difficult to deal with this loss, and you first need to accept that it is difficult. Don't try to hold how you feel inside about this loss, let it out. What I do know is that the initial pain will subside. It’s replaced with very vivid dreams and reflections of happy times from the past.

I’ve had my mother come to me in many dreams, and a lot of times, it was during difficult times in my life. She came to soothe and comfort me, and assure me that better times were coming. Sometimes she would just sit at the end of my bed and be there for me. If this happens to you, don't let it scare you, embrace the situation.

One thing in my life which I could always count on was the love my mother had for me, and still does to this day. Mothers are angels, and if you still have your mother in your life, enjoy each day that you have her. You will not always have her in your life. I always thought she would be there forever, and many of you may feel the same way. But, getting older is part of life, and so is death. So enjoy the time you have with her while she is here. You will never regret it.
