Root Chakra and Anxiety
The root chakra deals with feelings of security and stability. If your root chakra is blocked or underactive, you may feel nervous, anxious, and scared; if it's overactive, you may find that you're resistant to change. These feelings can extend into your relationships. Since the root chakra deals with feeling grounded, you can do exercises to help strengthen your connection to the earth.
Exercise: Relax and stand straight with your feel shoulder-width apart, knees just slightly bent, and palms leaning forward.
