I invite you to open to a new way of viewing food and of viewing your body. Of course, if you are on a personal diet or have a particular lifestyle, you may just incorporate pieces. The choice is yours but be sure to consult with your doctor when making major dietary changes.
Our Mind, Body, Spirit Connection to Food
What if we felt more powerful about our food choices? What if we had confidence every time we sat down to eat? Our connection to food is a combination of mind, body and spirit. We were born knowing how much to eat. Hunger is your body's way of telling you that you need fuel. By reconnecting with our intuitive signals, we can manage our eating naturally, without restrictive diets or obsessing over every bite.
At a deep cellular level, our bodies carry an inherent wisdom and truth. Our opportunity when accessing this, is to create dialog, and most importantly, to listen. Intuition is a product of your mind, body and spiritual knowing. Intuitive eating is accomplished by connecting to your intuition in order to listen to the true needs of your body, mind and spirit. If it were merely the act of eating when you are hungry and stopping when you are full, all would be simple, but alas it doesn’t quite work that way for most of us.
All Food is Fuel For Your Body
Throw out your taboos and all positive or negative preconceived thoughts of particular foods. Everything is fuel! Whether you eat an apple or a piece of chocolate cake, bless them both. Speak to food with gratitude for fueling your body! As you begin to attach gratitude and appreciation for each and everything you choose to put in your body, you attach feeling. Try it! Your body begins to react to the positive energy and knows how much you truly need. No foods are forbidden. Instead, give yourself unconditional permission to eat all foods, under one condition: you stay attuned to your body. You decide what you eat! You consult yourself as the source.
It is amazing how your cravings change when you eat without resistance. Your body knows not to eat pizza 24/7! That would get boring. Yet, if you say you can never eat pizza, naturally you will crave pizza.
Your Body is Your Temple
Take your time when eating. Eat slowly. Eat with awareness. Eat with gratitude. Bless your Food. As you chew, thank the food for fueling your body and giving you nourishment. Your body is your temple. Maintain positive energy around all that you eat and all that you drink by visualizing it supporting your optimum health.

I leave you with these wise words:
"Your body is precious; it is our vehicle for awakening. Treat it with care." - Buddha
