Langhorne, PA - Psychic Source, a popular and respected psychic service since 1989, has been announced as a finalist in the 2018 PR News' CSR & Nonprofit Awards for the brand’s Kindness Initiative. PR News developed the awards to “celebrate the communicators that work hard to make the world a better place through corporate social responsibly and nonprofit initiatives.” 
 
Launched in January 2017, the Kindness Initiative is about bringing communities together to spread benevolence and positivity. Through the effort, Psychic Source has donated more than $300,000 to the charities in the program.  Customers elect one of the three charities and Psychic Source donates 1% of their current and future sales: 


• Futures Without Violence – Ending domestic violence/child abuse
• Paws With A Cause ® – Assistance dogs for the disabled
• National Center for Housing and Child Welfare – Improving the lives of America’s most economically disadvantaged youth and families.

Maryanne Fiedler, Director of Marketing for Psychic Source, is honored that PR News has elevated the initiative as a finalist in their CSR Awards. “All of us are so proud of the Kindness Initiative. A finalist in the Causing Brand Campaign category, Psychic Source is included amongst a list of brands and services that includes T-Mobile, Planet Fitness, Bridgestone and LG Electronics. “This is quite a list of large, global brands. Being included with these impressive brands is a compliment itself,” said Fiedler.
