The week of November 16th begins with an extraordinary New Moon in Scorpio. Persuasive to begin with, this new Moon is in a cozy trine with Uranus in Pisces and squares the stellium of Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in free thinking Aquarius. Scorpio is a sign that is, metaphysically speaking, compelled to renounce its attachments to the objects of ego. We are inspired to initiate deeper connections, for we understand that to truly bond with another human being; we must be willing to transcend boundaries.
Later in the week, a hard Venus-Mars square challenges our perceptions of love and intimacy. This is intense sexual–emotional energy. Venus is in survivalist Scorpio as it confronts the dramatic energy of Leo in Mars and the resulting combustion can bring on quite a scene.
