As you welcome the first few illuminating days of summer, the season of light and happiness, it is equally as important to work on cultivating YOUR inner light and wellbeing. With the right mindset and guidance, you can embrace the energy of the sun and light within you.

This is completely normal! To help you get started, we put together this soothing, encouraging, and absolutely free guided meditation so you can break out of your shell and shine from within! Allow this summer meditation to be the first step in your own personal transformation.
Where do you begin?
Find a quiet, comfortable place where you can remain undisturbed for several minutes. The idea is to be facing the sun so that you will actually feel its rays soaking through you as you meditate. You will be asked to focus mainly on the Manipura Chakra, located between your navel and solar plexus.
What is the focus of this meditation?
The Manipura Chakra, which is the color of a pure flame, is the place in your body that holds warmth. It is where energy enters your physical body, safeguarding and supporting your life by distributing the energy that you take in. We use the Manipura Chakra to cultivate self-awareness, self-confidence, and wellbeing. Once you can actively access this energy space, you will feel lighter, happier, and more tuned in.
How does it work?
Rest your hands on your belly, wherever you feel Manipura energy radiate the most. As you inhale, visualize warm golden light in this space and send your breath there. As you exhale, visualize this light radiating and spreading throughout your body. Imagine that this light activates the energy you need to move forward in your life with courage and confidence. You will be guided through this breathing exercise as you allow the energy to envelop your entire body, starting at the Manipura Chakra.
When you are ready to end the practice, rest your hands in prayer in front of your heart. Take a deep breath in through your nose and then exhale deeply. Feel the warm golden light of the sun as it nourishes your mind, body, and spirit.
Repeat to yourself three times: “The light is inside me and I am the light; I have the power of light.”
