Dear Readers, My Mother, Amelia, was an extraordinarily independent, responsible, loving Sagittarian “lady.” It was later in my life that I learned she used to read the playing cards’ deck when she was younger. Card readings of any type were not accepted by everyone during her lifetime. The free readings she gave to friends, relatives »

Who hasn’t picked up a deck of playing cards and wondered about their beginnings? Perhaps your grandmother used to read cards at family gatherings, or maybe a friend. No one is entirely sure as to the exact origins of playing cards. It is thought they perhaps started as the Minor Arcana of the Tarot, with »

About: Hello – I am Maxine a psychic and writer. My passion for the spiritual arts and writing serve me well in this venue. Writing has always been an intriguing aspect of my life, the Internet gave me a new and exciting way in which to communicate with others all over the world. In 2001 I founded e-groups, “Sangha for Independents” also “Buddhist Inmate Sangha” (sangha means community) these groups provide a community for those who practice independently. We support the practice by sending books and writing letters to prisoners who wish to know about Buddhism or are Buddhist and have no one to share the practice with. Writing to others about life experiences is a joy bringing me closer to my spiritual center.
Business and the arts took center stage in my younger life. My father being the founder of Snapple gave me strong roots in the business world. I became a make-up artist and hairstylist with a career spanning twenty years both in New York and California. This gave me a great education in that i got to talk to many different people everyday in-depth reinforcing my psychic knowledge base. I lived on both coasts and for seventeen years shared ownership of a kennel allowing me to make deep connections with animals.
Back east once again I am enjoying working with Psychic Source – writing for me is like eating, without it I would starve.See Authors Posts (23) - No Comments
Below is a letter I wrote – in gratitude -as I read the blogs I was inspired to look up an old mentor. I felt him, and oddly enough he passed away this year. So I wrote this letter. I did get an email back which is included… below is a picture of Dr. George Michael. »

About: I am an empathic Tarot reader who helps people solve their problems in life. I have used the cards for seventeen years, and as I've gotten older, my readings have grown more helpful to others. My philosophy about psychic readings is pretty simple: "You create your own future, I just help you figure out which choices to make." I am also a visual artist and musician, and I enjoy spending time with my new baby boy.See Authors Posts (1) - 8 Comments
A lot of Psychics at Psychic Source use Tarot cards as a way to provide insightful readings for clients. I have found, after seventeen years of reading Tarot, however, that many clients don’t really know much about the cards. There are many beliefs about the cards, ranging from how to obtain a deck, how to »

About: I became interested in reading Tarot when I was 15 and my friend had a set of cards. I played, explored, practiced and began to read for friends and family. I began reading professionally in the late 80's. I have always been intuitive and fascinated by the unknown. I am a Libra-Scorpio girl with Neptune conjunct my sun so I think that accounts for me always studying the mysteries of life. I feel my particular gift seems to be confirming what a client might already think or suspect. I specialize in people. I have helped solve a murder, predicted many events and love working with Tarot and Angel cards. For me Tarot is another alternative to get into oneself, and get closer to my Higher Power. I am an avid reader of popular novels, love interior design, have two grown sons and 2 adorable grandchildren and a husband that makes me laugh. One of my favorite things is to have everyone together and listen to my sons talk in "script" and try to figure out what movie they are in. One does news and traffic on the radio, the other is going to school for film.
I am by trade a professional addictions counselor and am currently deciding what state I want to live in. One of my dreams is to see England as well as Ireland. I have been lucky to see parts of the world; Paris with my mother, Tokyo, Bali, Sing-a-pore, and Indonesia. If it didn't have such harsh winters, I'd be living in Maine. My background is a combination of gypsies and royalty along with a few bootleg makers. I look forward to being in my own home again and re-connecting with my clients as well as meeting new friends on Psychic Source.See Authors Posts (2) - 2 Comments

The art of Tarot dates back to the mid fifteenth century, where Europeans used to play card games with the 78 card deck. Today, they are mainly used in divination, as a way to delve deeper into someone’s situation. In a Tarot Reading, the Tarot Reader will focus on the major arcane, which represent the »
