As the vibration of Valentine’s Day begins to dance through the atmosphere, energies within the universe swirl like dervishes, intensifying and mounting with heightened emotions and psychic sensitivities, touching our minds, hearts and spirits in uniquely different ways.

The month for love, February,  offers us the opportunity to enhance our intimate connections with those whom Cupid has brought into our lives.

In my work with psychic healing, I’m often asked the question: “Is my lover thinking about me?” To that, I frequently respond: “You will know if you listen to your thoughts.”

Many of us have heard of family members and loved ones being able to sense when there is danger or pain in the lives of those they care for; we have heard of mothers having premonitions about their children and wives about their husbands, about lovers and twin flames being able to sense each other’s pain at a distance.

But how many times do we hear about being able to feel each other’s pleasure at a distance?

The knowing of pain is as accessible as the knowing of pleasure, and when we open ourselves to each others’ thoughts in this dimension of knowing, which is psychic and telepathic, we can experience a pleasure that lifts the soul and catapults it across galaxies, taking it to a place of beauty that exists as a secret of nature.

And a secret of nature is what true sexual pleasure is.

Much more than the physical experience of sex, which is about friction of body parts, psychic and telepathic sex is among the highest expressions of Love, Harmony, and Beauty – it is the result of merging thoughts, auras, and souls in a dimension that is within our grasp, yet out of this world.

How we get there, however, requires complete openness and trust; it also requires practice and patience.

On this Valentine’s Day, or during this month, I encourage you to try to enter the thoughts of your partner so that you may share in the pleasure they feel as you send thoughts of sexual pleasure to them.

Sit and concentrate, visualizing your partner inside of you, or you inside of your partner at that the stage of physical intimacy just before climax; women hold his manhood inside firmly; men, hold your manhood erect while you experience being inside; same sex lovers, feel the tenderness and excitement of your partner’s physical touch in you and on you.

Keep those thoughts for as long as you can, sending thoughts of your pleasure while receiving them – importantly, share. It is the sharing that brings supreme pleasure, which exists at a deeply psychic level. In this dimension of thought and knowing, send whatever thoughts and emotions you are feeling to your partner, expressing your love and admiration for them, telling them how you feel – express all of it – even if there are tears, just express.

Through practice, you will know when your lover is thinking of you, and they will know when they are thinking of them. There will be no question, there will be just love – there will be pure bliss – there will be a release and experience of pure joy.

In my Buddhist realm of heart felt experience I have studied, prayed and experimented with the mantra that is the title of the Lotus Sutra. This sutra is the most revered sutra in Nichiren Buddhism and for most Nichiren Buddhists, it is a part of the daily ritual of prayer called gongyo. Chanting Namu Myoho Renge Kyo is an outward mantra that will clear your karma and align you with the Universe.

Nichiren had a hard life as his propagated the law and in his struggle to pass on these teachings he was exiled to islands that were quite barren, his disciples sent him gifts of rice and robes and in return he sent letters called goshos to encourage and thank his disciples for their generosity, even though many of his disciples were poor themselves.

One of my favorite goshos is called “Earthly Desires are Enlightenment.” I must have read this gosho more than any of the others as it really hit home for me in my search for the best I can get from loving and being loved.

When a person chants they can hold in their mind the desires they want to have in their life. As we achieve our goals and our prayers become manifestations of our desires, we come to realize that the practice of chanting is indeed a powerful thing – getting what you want gives you proof that your chanting is working and in turn you chant more and chanting as promised by Nichiren will allow you to become enlightened in this lifetime.

So when I first read this gosho many years ago I asked if Nichiren meant that if we chant while we are making love we will be enlightened in that moment. No one I asked had ever tried it and so I was on a mission to try it and see if it worked. Well about four years I was studying with my husband and this gosho came up and I asked my husband if he would be willing to try chanting with me while we made love. He is so cool and accepted my offer. My husband has a beautiful voice and as he started to chant I too chimed in and for a quite a while, in a lotus position, we opened up our hearts and connected in a way that, in all my years of lovemaking, I had never connected before.

Below is a small part of the gosho “Earthly desires are enlightenment”

A commentary states that the profound principle of the true aspect is the originally inherent Myoho-renge-kyo.3 We learn that that true aspect of all phenomena is also the two Buddhas Shakyamuni and Many Treasures [seated together in the treasure tower]. “All phenomena” corresponds to Many Treasures, and “the true aspect” corresponds to Shakyamuni. These are also the two elements of reality and wisdom. Many Treasures is reality; Shakyamuni is wisdom. It is the enlightenment that reality and wisdom are two, and yet they are not two.

These are teachings of prime importance. These are also what is called “earthly desires are enlightenment,” and “the sufferings of birth and death are nirvana.” Chanting Namu-myoho-renge-kyo during the physical union of man and woman is indeed what is called “earthly desires are enlightenment,” and “the sufferings of birth and death are nirvana.” “The sufferings of birth and death are nirvana” exists only in realizing that the entity of life throughout its cycle of birth and death is neither born nor destroyed.

I developed my love of shoes as a child, having to wear saddle shoes, white bucks and on special occasions, the only shoes with style in my closet: the Mary Jane. These shoes brought out my desire for style and fashion in shoes. As I began my teen years, I finally was able to buy the faux snake skin knee high black boots I lusted after for a good few months. Then the loafers and the little pump – I liked to dance so I had ballet slippers in pink, white and black.  I really enjoyed the white sneaker Keds too. My love for shoes became an obsession of the coolest kind. I love shoes so much that I actually bought a pair of knee high lace-up boots with four inch heels to wear while lying down!

But enough about my shoe fetish! Let’s look back at some famous shoes –

One of my favorite pair of shoes is the red ruby slippers in the Wizard of Oz.  They are by far the most famous shoes; magical in nature, just by clicking your heels you can be transported home.

Then we have the glass slipper in the timeless story of Cinderella.  What girl didn’t dream of her prince coming to save her, slipping the slipper made of glass on and becoming a princess swept away by Mr. Charming himself?

Shoes have a mystical energy; they can make your day a joy; giving pep to your step and sex appeal to your being. Shoes offer a persona to our outer look that allows us to feel a sense of joy inside. For those of you who have watched Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw gave us the connection of heart to feet and perhaps started a whole trend of higher metaphysics in fashion. I once heard it said you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes, I believe this to be true. Manolo Blahnik opened in 1973 saying “shoes help transform a woman.”

The “Red Shoe Diaries” was a series from 1992-1997 that was all about love. It was steamy and seductive – woman answered an ad under “Red Shoe Diaries” asking for stories about love, passion and betrayal. The stories helped a man come to terms with his fiancée killing herself.

Carlos Santana is one of my favorite musicians – he is hot and sexy and has an incredible line of shoes… like his music his shoes will make you get up and dance.

So, to all you pretty women:  get that red dress on with your red leather ‘come get me’ high heels that make a statement that you are ready for a night of love – and when your man notices your shoes, know he really loves you.

Lust
When a person is looking for love the first thing that attracts them is the chemistry (even if you meet over the phone or the internet, there is chemistry). Being able to “laugh” with your mate is one of the greatest joys there is. It is a fact that the two of you are having fun, bonding and connecting on a higher level. If your mate does not get you and your humor falls flat the relationship could be doomed.

Loyalty
Feeling safe comes with “loyalty” a must for a relationship to last “loyalty” comes in wide or narrow boundaries depending on the depth of the unconditional amount of the love you share.
Knowing that there is no lying or cheating is the greatest gift you can give your lover. Keeping a person safe in the fact that you love only them, without any games or sneaky activities will bring long and deep “loyalty” to your relationship.

It will be emotional so take a trusted friend with you or make sure you have someone to talk to when you return.

My last piece of advice – don’t stay in the relationship if it is ‘dead’ and can’t be repaired – you are the one who will end up suffering and never getting what you truly deserve – a positive, loving and safe relationship.

I am often asked if the Law of Attraction really works. Yes, I tell people, emphatically, yes it really works. If your thought was positive and filled with emotions of joy, expectation and happiness, you will draw into your life, that which you desired. The past represents opportunities that are no longer available to us. The past represents things that we drew to us then and reflects the kind of thinking and expectation we had then. The future, on the other hand is open, untouched, a chapter not yet written, a vision not yet manifested. The future will depend on what kings of things you think and expect in the moment called now. By living in the moment, you will find your greatest power and your greatest ability to product and manifest what you want to experience and have in the future. By living in the moment, you can experience the joy, happiness and abundance of the present. You can draw to you the most positive, abundance and life-affirming events and happenings in the future by inwardly knowing them in the now.
