The heart is a wondrous magnet. The amount of love we feel for ourselves and for others, as well as the quality of that love determines the quality of friends, lovers, supporters and others we draw into our life. The more love we can emanate during meditative sessions, the more we will draw people of like and reciprocal energy into our lives.  By shifting the kind of energy we emanate, we shift the quality of energy and the people and experiences we draw to us. Shifting this draw to the positive helps alleviate the draining and distracting energies from those less evolved, from interfering with your own sense of well-being.
The heart is strong, resilient and its function is life-affirming.  The heart is the perfect symbol for love, romance and commitment.  The energy emitted from the heart center is reminiscent of the petals of a flower opening, one petal at a time.  A rose is sometimes representative of love and the heart, while in meditation; a lotus can also represent the heart center.  In either case, there is a strong impression of growth, expansion and moving upward and outward.  These are also the qualities of love.  Love is ever changing through the properties of expression, growth and expansion.  Love is universal and does not require a language for expression.  Love is its own language and people across the globe speak this language empathically.
Many of the questions received on any astrology, tarot or psychic line will inevitably involve love and romance.  We were not meant to be alone.  We were meant to connect with friends and loved ones, family members and that one very special person with whom we will ideally spend the rest of our lives.

  For the most positive dynamics in any relationship, each person must be willing to express and be their authentic self.  With such a life-affirming connection, there can be no room for jealousy, control or unhealthy competition.  Relationships that are blessed by and validated by true love have the greatest opportunity to experience their spiritual connection to one another and to the creative life force energy. 
• Love allows us to not just survive in life, but to thrive as well.  Love is an active force and an energy that can be harnessed and utilized to promote more love, inspiration, imagination, growth, evolution and, of course, the creation of new life. 

As we approach another Valentine’s Day, a day dedicated to love, commitment and nurturing, let us remember that no matter how challenging our lives become or the world around us seems to express, the one universal force that has historically lead to our salvation as human beings if love.  All acts of compassion, kindness, faith, hope, rescue, healing and inspiration has its roots in love.

Never let a moment or opportunity go to express feelings of love for those you truly care about.  The more we express love, the more we heal our world.  The more we express love, the more we create a new and better world.  The more we love and send that love out into the universe, the more it will return to bless our lives and empower our choices.

A client I had visited with many years ago asked me about the Law of Attraction.  The question he put to me was more of a statement: “The Universe,” he said, “owes me a living.”  He went on spouting off about this marvelous universe that was set in place to grant his every wish and fulfill his every need.

After about fifteen minutes, I asked my client, “How is the Universe doing in supplying what you want and ask of it?” 

As it turned out, that was his problem.  The Universe wasn’t supplying him with anything he wanted and he was confused and wanted help with how to control the universe via the Law of Attraction. Since that client, I have met others with the same attitude.

The Universe is, in point of fact, an operable set of laws that are in constant motion.  These laws cover such sciences at physics, mathematics and even metaphysics.  There are more, of course, but the point is this, the Universe has a consciousness, but one that supports, facilitates and keeps in motion all of these laws.  The Universe is not a singular, man-made image such as how God is often portrayed, and from which we demand, command or beg for things to be given us or to manifest in our lives.  That is not how it works.

The first key to the Law of Attraction is responsibility.  We are responsible for the state of our own lives.  We are not necessarily responsible for each circumstance, but that is because we interact with other human beings and we all have free will and free agency.  It is our responsibility, however, how we react to our life circumstances.

We are actually responsible to the Universe, rather than the reverse.  It is our duty and obligation, if we want to develop and evolve in this world and in the universe, to discover and learn the laws that run our Universe.  It is our responsibility to work with those laws and to flow WITH the universal energy movement.  When we are in synchronicity with the universe and universal laws, we are fully activating the Law of Attraction and drawing into our lives, automatically, our personal growth and our wants and needs.

Learn to Swim in the Universe

If you put a toddler into a swim pool, the child will begin to sink and then, will naturally hold his breath and discover that he will immediately float to the surface where he can get another breath.  Soon, he can be taught how to swim in water and how to stay afloat and how to breathe properly and in sync with his swim strokes.  The swim pool represents the Universe and we are the toddlers learning how to maneuver in the vast and infinite waters.  The water in the swim pool will not adapt to the toddler’s needs by giving it oxygen when it is immersed within, rather, the toddler must learn how to operate in the water and maneuver to the surface in order to get the oxygen his body needs.

The Universe is complex in its seeming infinity, yet very simple once we learn the laws of the Universe and throw away man-made rules that are useless, frustrating and powerless.  My client had adopted a man-made rule that in actuality had no substance, no worth and no validity.  The universe did not owe him a living.  He owed the Universe commitment and responsibility to learn the laws governing his world and to learn how to maneuver within to draw to him what ne wanted.  Once he learned how to get in sync with the Universe, his life changed and he began experiencing genuine happiness, fulfillment and manifestation.

What is Mercury Retrograde?
The Earth turns on its own axis, and while turning, it revolves around the Sun. The zodiac (made up of 12 signs) is a stationary belt that encircles the Earth. We relate other planets to Earth through their positions to the zodiac belt that surrounds Earth.

When giving readings there are times I will use this old saying to illustrate that a chapter in one’s life is ending and soon a new one will begin. Often I have discovered, as an astute observer of life’s ways and patterns, when a door does close or a chapter closes in our life, there can be a period of limbo, when nothing seems to be happening and wherein we are often without direction. I have heard this referred to in metaphysics as “the dark night of the soul”. It is a period of time where we feel as though we have no anchor, no comfort zone, little or no faith and sometimes there can even be depression and giving up on life. Luckily, the “dark night of the soul” doesn’t last long. Time can heal, or at least, heal us enough to get us motivated and moving again.

Here’s how I look at it. No matter how dark the night, morning always brings light. No matter how deep our feelings take us, we never walk alone, especially if we are praying or meditating for help and answers to our questions. There are always loved ones, teachers, adepts and master on the other side ready and willing to provide guidance if we ask their intercession. One thing I encourage my clients to remember is that timing is everything. My youngest sister, who has a fire sign moon, used to say that when she got impatient with how slowly her life was moving, she’d tell God to get out of the driver’s seat so she could take over. Of course, that only ended in disaster, but it definitely made life interesting for her for a little while. Many of us do that, or try to. The key to any crisis or dark night is to participate in the resolution of your life’s quandary. Do something, even if it is just the immediate task in front of you. By continuing to life you life to the best of you ability, you will sponsor the opening of the next set of doors and windows. I have always told clients and loved ones, if you don’t know what direction to take, follow the windows. By taking advantage of the opportunities that come your way, the path will be shown.

Years ago a client I once knew lost her job and was a single mom raising two children. She needed work badly and a way to care for herself and her children. A window opened. She got an offer for part time work at a local University, but she was disappointed because she didn’t think she could make it on part time salary. I asked her if there were any other windows open to her and she said no. I told her to following through with that window of opportunity and see where it might lead. She did. It lead her to a full four-year scholarship and the part time job lead to full time work at the University. Today, she is a very fine teacher and is married to a wonderful man who is also a teacher. Her two children went on to college and are leading happy and productive lives as well……… all because she had the courage to follow the immediate opportunity, i.e., “window” in front of her.

Today, we are more advanced in our thinking and in our knowledge of the universe in which we live. We know, for example, that we have choices to make every moment we live, move, breathe and foster our being on this planet. We know that we are here to participate in our own life direction and that the choices we make have great bearing on the outcome of lives. No matter what religion, faith or belief system you follow, free will or free agency is a unique part of our basic “God-given” rights. Even when we don’t appear to be making a choice on something, we actually are. We are choosing not to make a different choice. Free will is innate in our beings. It is subjective and it is imprinted indelibly on the soul.

Manifestation is a key need for the spirit, no matter our circumstances or environment. Ultimately, we are here to achieve soul development, but until that becomes a conscious part of our awareness, we may think we are here to manifest persons, places, things and achievements. Manifestation, which is a unique part of the Law of Attraction, depends wholly upon the choices we make and upon our ability to understand the quantum laws of physics and science. When we are in sync with our universe, we are in sync with the principles of manifestation.

If you have a weight issue and you call a psychic or astrologer or other reader to find out if you will be successful in losing weight in the coming six months, you must actually “participate” in the outcome of that prediction. At the time you ask the question, if you are sincere in the desire to lose weight and are willing to work with your physician’s guidelines, you will ultimately be successful. The prediction of success will manifest. If, however, you go home with the expectation of success, but continue to eat as you always have and do not exercise or make any lifestyle changes, you will not be successful. Psychic and astrology predictions are subjective. Your choices and intentions will produce or prevent any prediction.

If an apple disconnects from a branch on the apple tree, it will fall to the ground. Why? It will fall because of the Law of Gravity. We can work with natural laws or we can work against them. You can climb a ladder and pick an apple from an apple tree, or you can shake a branch so that the apple falls and then pick it up. I am often asked if the Law of Attraction really works. Yes, I tell people, emphatically, yes it really works. Asking if the Law of Attraction really works is like asking if the Law of Gravity really works. You just have to throw into the air anything from an anvil to a feather, both of which will end up on the ground.

We all know that energy cannot be destroyed, but can change form. Knowing this, we must also accept the fact that abundance is unlimited. There is always abundance and enough abundance for everyone. The Law of Attraction will either draw abundance to us, or it will push abundance away from us, depending upon what we expect of the universe. Our own thoughts and expectations determine the quality of our lives and the abundance we draw to us.

The first step in understanding the Law of Attraction is to understand our own thoughts, thought processes and expectations we have of the world around us. Whatever emotions we are feeling at any given moment will contribute to the thoughts we are thinking and will greatly affect the energy we are attracting back into our lives. In other words, when you think a thought, it travels into the universe looking for the same energy frequency as itself. If you put a lot of emotion into the thought, it will reappear back in your life quickly, bringing to you the quality you originally sent out. If your thought was positive and filled with emotions of joy, expectation and happiness, you will draw into your life, that which you desired. If you were angry and your thought was damaging or destructive, an unhappy event or happening is what you will eventually reap in your own life.

The past represents opportunities that are no longer available to us. The past represents things that we drew to us then and reflects the kind of thinking and expectation we had then. The future, on the other hand is open, untouched, a chapter not yet written, a vision not yet manifested. The future will depend on what kings of things you think and expect in the moment called now. By living in the moment, you will find your greatest power and your greatest ability to product and manifest what you want to experience and have in the future. By living in the moment, you can experience the joy, happiness and abundance of the present. You can draw to you the most positive, abundance and life-affirming events and happenings in the future by inwardly knowing them in the now.
