<p>The Holiday Season is one of my most favorite times of year.  I love the traditions and rituals we all repeat year after year that bring us together in love, celebration and joy.  Most everyone becomes more generous, caring and compassionate than usual.</p>
<p>For some of us, however, all of the focus on fun, love, holiday parties and gift giving can become overwhelming for our hearts, especially if we have lost someone close to us, or someone dear to us is far away.  Here is a soul meditation that I offer to my clients to help close the gap of a loved one not being physically with us.</p>
<p>Find a quiet place to sit, possibly even a place where you’ve spent time with the person you miss.  Close your eyes, take a deep breath, inhaling through your nose all the way down to your navel, hold for two counts, then exhale big.  Repeat, and when you exhale imagine any tension in your body or anywhere in your life leaving.  Do this one more time.  You will feel very centered and peaceful.</p>
<p>Become aware of your Heart Center, the area around your physical heart.  You might want to picture this area as a beautiful flame or a multi-faceted crystal behind three petals.  Allow the petals to unfold and your heart light to shine through.  Ask your Soul to join you.  Your Soul’s heart center flame or multi-faceted crystal is larger than yours.  See and sense your Soul embracing your heart center in theirs.  When completely aligned, you will sense a “click.”</p>
<p>If anything feels out of balance or it’s hard to let your Soul embrace your heart center, ask your Soul to balance the energies and remove anything between you and your Soul.  Notice you are breathing peacefully.  Notice how you good you feel.</p>
<p>Next invite the loved one you are missing to stand a few feet in front of you.  Notice his or her heart center.  Notice how you are feeling with them there.  Ask your Soul to help you send a beam of love from your heart center to your loved one’s heart center.  You will feel a similar “click” when you connect with their heart center.  Send just the right amount of love, not too much, not too little.  Your Soul will help you adjust the flow.  Let the love return to your heart center from your loved one.  Let their love in.<br />
Let anything that feels out of balance be cleared through the love.  Tell your loved one anything you want to say to them.  Let them tell you what they want to tell you.  Be open to hearing them talking, or perhaps seeing scenes, people or symbols.  You may only feel emotions.  Even if it feels like this is only your imagination, trust that whatever you’re experiencing is real.</p>
<p>Your experience may be very emotional.  Know it is perfectly okay to cry and cry.  You may also find yourself angry, or really really happy.  Whatever happens is exactly what’s meant to happen.  Tell them how much you miss them, let them know what you’ve been doing, ask them what it’s like for them.<br />
You will know when to end your session.  You can have as many sessions as you’d like.  I suggest spending 5 to 15 minutes to start, two or three times a week. </p>
<p>This meditation is powerful.  You may want to have a tape recorder.  Or you may want to quietly bask in the love.  It’s your time together.  Create it in a way that honors the love and supports the communication you wish to share.</p>

<p><strong>Is the new year a good time to start something new and if so, why?</strong>  </p>
<p>The New Year is a great time for new beginnings and fresh starts. It is one of the best times to look at renewal of energy and commitments to yourself; such as health, spiritual growth, and better communication.  As the year ends with reflective energy, we can find ways to refocus and work toward manifesting the new aspects that we desire in our lives.</p>
<p><strong>What would you tell clients who are looking for a new love or maybe even a new ‘spark’ to their current relationship in the New Year?</strong></p>
<p>In regards to new love or creating a new &#8220;spark&#8221; to a romance, the fresh start or new beginning energy the New Year brings will help with clearing out old energy and pave the way for a fresh attitude for you in the sense of relationship. If you are seeking a new level of love or a brand new love, I would advise to begin with a &#8220;wish list&#8221; of the qualities and attributes of your heart’s desire. When two souls agree to come together in a loving way, the ability to manifest a healthy spiritual, emotional, and physical bonding will seem effortless and bring in a sense of completion for both souls. In the physical world this translates into &#8220;falling in love and staying there&#8221;. Relationships are at times &#8220;work&#8221; but the aspect of love from the soul on both sides enables us to &#8220;work&#8221; through the challenges and remain in Bliss.  </p>
<p><strong>Forming a bad habit can often be easier than creating a new one. With the New Year around the corner, do your customers ask about creating resolutions? What advice do you give them?</strong></p>
<p>As you put your resolutions in writing, a collage, or visual notebook, treat them as a new contract with yourself and strive to follow your own &#8220;rules&#8221; or guidelines. As you intend to replace old patterns with the new, you will notice that repetition or practice brings in the new energy and flat lines the old.  I would also begin by creating a space for clearing or ceremony to create clean slate energy in order to begin anew in a positive way on a spiritual level. </p>
<p><strong>Do you have any tips for creating a ‘New State of Mind’ for people who may be in a rut? </strong></p>
<p>1. Make a conscious decision that you desire change. </p>
<p>2. Pray and meditate to open new directions on your life path.</p>
<p>3. Connect with those who are like minded for support.</p>
<p>4. Practice manifesting your heart’s desire, whether it be in work, love, finance. It is your heart speaking to you.</p>
<p>5. Try something new; add a new experience to your being.</p>

<p>Follow me; your guided mental vacation is awaiting you!<br />
1.Envision in front of you 8 steps. (I like to envision them as sand filled boardwalk steps.) These steps lead down to the beach. Each step is warm from the sun.</p>
<p>2.As you count backwards from 8 &#8211; 0 step on each step and feel the warmth of it under your feet. When you are on the last step down and you say &#8220;zero&#8221; you will automatically find yourself on a warm beach.</p>
<p>3.Your feet are in the sand. You can feel the warmth rise up through you entire body. You feel so warm safe and comfortable that you decide to sit down in the sand.</p>
<p>4.You can feel the warmth on your bottom, the sun caressing your face and the wind gently blowing your hair.</p>
<p>5.You gaze off out into the ocean and see the sun shining high in the sky. Staring at the sun you begin to relax deeper and deeper. Envisioning the sun setting you relax more and more with each drop down of the sun&#8217;s light in front of you.</p>
<p>6.When the sun reaches the water horizon line and sets behind it; you will become totally relaxed and in a deep state of relaxation. As you envision this say to yourself setting, setting, set.</p>
<p>7.After the sun sets; you will become sleepy and decide to lay back in the sand. You feel the sand warming and caressing your entire body and you feel totally peaceful and relaxed.</p>
<p>8.Start again from the beginning and repeat the visualizations and affirmations as many times as you need to until you reach your desired level of relaxation. When you are through; simply count back up from 0-8 and envision yourself walking back up the sandy steps and back into your daily life. </p>
<p>You should feel revived, relaxed, cleansed of negativity and find yourself in a peaceful state of consciousness as you go about your regular activities. Take one of these mental vacations anytime you are tensed stressed or fatigued. My friend and I used to like to practice this meditation together and add in some creative elements, like pool boys fanning us in the sun, or sipping fruity drinks &#8211; ect. you can add any elements you desire to your mental vacation. With your creativity and some practice the possibilities to your never ending vacation are limitless. You will start to feel like you can get away and have a vacation anytime you desire. The best part is you don&#8217;t have to take off of work for it and it only costs a few minutes of your time.   </p>

<p>In addition to being a <a href="http://www.psychicsource.com/psychics/profile.aspx?PsyID=757">psychic advisor</a>, I am also a yoga teacher. I really wish that you could be here to study yoga with me in person. It may be a slight exaggeration to say that “yoga is the answer to all your problems,” although for me personally, it has actually turned out to be the case, and quite frankly, a large percentage of the problems that you call me about could be solved, or at least significantly improved, if you were to do yoga!</p>
<p>Why is that? Well certainly it is a well-known fact that physical exercise not only improves our health, but also helps overcome the depression and anxiety which afflict many of us in our stressful, modern life. But yoga is more than mere physical exercise; it is the reestablishment of balance, rediscovering the unity of our body and soul and our fundamental relationship with Life itself. Yoga is meditation through movement and breathing. By reconnecting with our own body and breath, we can experience a deep sense of peace and bliss in the center of our being, where we have the assurance that we are loved and that no matter how bleak our situation may appear at times, ultimately everything will be ok. We may also lose weight and get in better shape, but that is just a fringe benefit and you don’t have to be an athlete. In fact, contrary to popular belief, yoga is not about difficult postures, acrobatics or contorting yourself into a pretzel. It can be as simple as lifting your arms while inhaling, lowering your arms while exhaling.</p>
<p>Simply by doing this we can cure, or at least greatly alleviate, the common modern affliction of existential malaise, alienation from ourself and our body. And when we experience that peace and love in our own heart, we automatically have better relationships with other people, both those we adore and those who annoy us, and we will generate a vibration which attracts that same love into our life. This is why I often recommend that my clients seek out a yoga class where they live. It’s also a great way to meet spiritual and health-conscious people.<br />
Meanwhile, here is a link to a wonderful site that I highly recommend: <a href="http://www.heartofyoga.com/podcasts-and-videos/">HeartofYoga.com</a>. In the podcasts and videos, click on “Principles of personal practice part 1” for instruction in simple movement and breathing exercises that you can start doing right away at home. My teacher promises that if you do them for 7 minutes a day your life will change. Go for it! This is something that is totally within your power to help create the life that you want and deserve.</p>

Here are some tips that I use to burn off negativity and recharge with positivity. </p>
<p><strong>Nature</strong> &#8211; sun light, moon light, star light, trees, plants, animals<br />
Light and nature burn off the negative and charge us with positivity. Being outside rebalances us between heaven and earth.  Plants and animals have been known to lower blood pressure and aid relaxation.<br />
<strong>Art </strong>- singing, writing, dance<br />
Creative outlets uplift the mood, provide healthy releases for stress and open us up to the angelic realm for inspiration.<br />
<strong>Meditation </strong>- guided, relaxation music, chakra alignments<br />
Meditating helps to calm the nervous system, clear your mind, and refocus your thoughts.<br />
<strong>Nutrition </strong>- vitamins, nutrients, water, avoid toxins<br />
Your body needs a designated amount of vitamins, minerals, nutrients and water daily. What you put into your body will reflect on your moods, energy level, and strength.<br />
<strong>Rose Quartz</strong> &#8211; to calm emotions<br />
Rose Quarts carries a gentle calming vibration. Hold it to calm the nerves and cultivate self love.<br />
<strong>Amethyst </strong>- to deflect negativity<br />
Amethyst will help to deflect negativity away from you.<br />
<strong>Aromatherapy</strong> &#8211; scents create moods<br />
Check out all of the different scents there are and how they make you feel.<br />
<strong>Vacation </strong>- down time even if only 5 minutes a day<br />
It&#8217;s not always possible to take a vacation but even a mental vacation 5 minutes a day is helpful. Close your eyes, breathe deep and envision yourself in your happy place, vacationing.</p>
<p><strong>Burn off Digital EMF</strong> &#8211; at least 7 minutes of sun light for each hour on a digital<br />
Digital equipment carries energy. EMF sticks to our energy field, clouds it up and disrupts it. Sunlight helps to burn off the negative effects of EMF.<br />
<strong>Turn off Phone </strong>during ME time<br />
When you designate a time for yourself each day; turn off the phone.<br />
<strong>Eliminate Drama</strong> &#8211; stay away from negative influences and people<br />
If possible; avoid people and situations that are negative. Make a check list of people in your life and weather they bring positive or negative into it.  Too much time around negative people and their drama is mentally and emotionally draining. When ever possible avoid these situations or take some serious time to recharge after dealing with a dramatic situation.<br />
<strong>Positive Affirmations</strong> &#8211; Tell your self you are happy. Your brain responds to your thoughts like a computer does to your fingers. Tell yourself you are happy. You are positive. You are going to have a great day.<br />
<strong>Physical Activity</strong> &#8211; 1 hr day Yoga, Tai Chi, aerobics, weight training, walking Physical activity increases the endorphins needed to promote a good mood. Yoga and Tai Chi help to balance your energies.<br />
<strong>Eat foods that elevate your mood </strong>- strawberries, milk, cottage cheese, caffeine, spinach, oily fish, sweet potatoes, turkey, brazil nuts, If you don&#8217;t like any of the above foods there are plenty of others. Do some research and find some that you like.<br />
<strong>Sleep</strong> &#8211; 7-9 hours a night is the optimal amount of sleep to get the proper REM. If you don&#8217;t sleep enough to have an REM then your brain isn&#8217;t given the proper time to re-organize all of the information that you&#8217;ve taken in through the day. This can lead to a drained, overloaded, unfocused feeling the next day.</p>

<p><strong>Spring Flower Meditation</strong> &#8211; This meditation will open cleanse and recharge your entire being. In the following meditation you will be envisioning each chakra opening from a bud and shining towards the sun turning into a beautiful rose.</p>
<p>1. Envision that you have roots growing from your the bottom of your feet deep into the earth</p>
<p>2. Using your breath and imagination begin drawing in the nurturing earth energy through the bottom of your feet up to your first chakra at the base of your spine</p>
<p>3. Envision the sun shining onto a red rose bud at the base of your spine. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed red rose &#8211; pull the earth energy up to the next chakra</p>
<p>4. Envision the sun shining onto a orange rose bud just below your belly button. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed orange rose- pull the earth energy up to the next chakra</p>
<p>5. Envision the sun shining onto a yellow rose bud at your solar plexus. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed yellow rose &#8211; pull the earth energy up to the next chakra</p>
<p>6. Envision the sun shining onto a green rose bud at your heart center. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed green rose -pull the earth energy up to the next chakra</p>
<p>7. Envision the sun shining onto a aquamarine rose bud between your heart and throat chakra. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed aquamarine rose -pull the earth energy up to the next chakra<br />
(many practitioners leave out the aquamarine chakra, however this is the chakra that connects you with the angelic world, so never leave this one out)</p>
<p>8. Envision the sun shining onto a sky blue rose bud at your throat area. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed sky blue rose &#8211; pull the earth energy up to the next chakra</p>
<p>9. Envision the sun shining onto a indigo rose bud at your third eye. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed indigo rose &#8211; pull the earth energy up to the next chakra</p>
<p>10. Envision the sun shining onto a purple rose bud at the crown area. Breathe in the sun and envision the bud opening into a full bloomed purple rose reaching straight up to the sunlight</p>
<p>11. Let the the purple rose gown tentacles of golden energy that reach all of the way up to the sun.</p>
<p>12. Then draw the sun energy back down and let it shine out through each chakra one by one.</p>
<p>13. When you reach back down to your roots allow the sun energy to shine back down deep into the earth.</p>
<p>13. You are now encircled by the golden light of the heavens.</p>
<p>Your soul is now aligned with all of the growth and positive changes the season will bring. You will feel cleansed, aligned, open and attuned to all of the beauty and light around you. If you&#8217;ve done the meditation correctly you will discover that YOU are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!<br />

This is done through the performance of poses or postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses can be done quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. The poses are a constant, but the approach to them varies according to the teacher and needs of the student.</p>
<p>Yoga is 99% practice and 1% theory. In the end, the physical aspects bring you into a spiritual awareness of the body and mind.</p>
<p><strong>SOMATICS</strong><br />
Thomas Hanna, Ph.D., founder of The Novato Institute for Somatic Research and Training, developed definitive, new methods for eradicating pain and improving mobility. He called this emerging discipline, clinical somatic education. It goes beyond, yoga, strengthening, and stretching in its ability to free and coordinate muscles.<br />
I could describe Somatics as beingv more omni-directional, mentally stimulating and comfortable to do. In one degree or another, it has similarities to Yoga. I like both and each has its benefits.</p>
<p>Somatics is a movement-based teaching most often used to bring relief from complaints typically referred to osteopathy, physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture, massage therapy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, biofeedback, neurosurgery, and other forms of alternative care options.</p>
<p>Somatics is a means of bringing relief from certain complaints such as: pain and stiffness, numbness, back trouble, regional muscular illnesses, impaired movement) and certain stress-related disorders (e.g., headache). In doing Somatic movements, individuals regain or improve those certain freedoms properly enjoyed by every individual: freedom of movement in comfort and efficient use of their own energy and faculties.</p>
<p><strong>THAI YOGA</strong><br />
Thai massage is an ancient and unique system of bodywork therapy taught and practiced in Thailand for 2500 years. Thai Massage has origins from Tui Na Chinese massage, Ayervedic Indian massage and Shiatsu Japanese massage. Thai massage fluidly and meditatively blends elements of gentle rocking, deep stretching, rhythmic compression, shiatsu, reflexology, yoga postures and breath work to create a singular healing experience. You&#8217;d be surprised how old resentments can limit your spiritual enfoldment, hold you in old patters and stunt your growth and life&#8217;s happiness. Hanging on to resentments causes an energy blockage in your heart center. Sometimes we don&#8217;t even realize that we are holding a grudge, haven&#8217;t forgiven someone or that we are still angry. Releasing these negative feelings clears out old energy and brings in new energy. Thus allowing your heart center to become open and flowing with pure love and light which attracts more of the same to you. After all it doesn&#8217;t hurt the other person at all when you are holding in resentment and anger. You only hurt yourself by blocking out love and holding on to the negative. It is important to remember that every negative experience also has something to teach us about ourselves and others and our capacity to love. When we practice forgiveness and self love we allow ourselves to become open pure channels of divine love. It is this love attracts the love we are seeking to us. It is this love that we are celebrating during the holidays.<br />
I want to share with you the following meditation that has helped me time and time again to release and heal through divine self love!</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Forgiveness Meditation</span></strong><br />
Envision a pink light with in your heart<br />
Using your breath focus on the pink light growing until you are overfilled with it and surrounded by a bubble of the pink light<br />
When you&#8217;re feeling totally peaceful and loving, envision the person or situation that you need to release<br />
Put the person or situation into it&#8217;s own pink bubble and then envision a pink bubble around both of your pink bubbles<br />
Envision the pink light flowing from your heart into theirs<br />
With your breath keep breathing love to the situation or person affirming the lessons learned, forgiveness, love, letting go, and healing that you are channeling<br />
Once you have breathed all the love you need to the person or situation tell them you are letting go in love<br />
Allow their bubble to float up and away. See it float higher and higher until it fades out of your sight.<br />
Continue to breathe in your pink heart light and emulate love from your heart surrounding yourself with it<br />
Once you feel release and recharged open your eyes<br />
You are now in a state of total love, unconditional self love &amp; the love of the universe!<br />
There is no love greater or stronger! This is a perfect LOVE, that will never disappoint you and is always there holding you in perfect peace!</p>

<p>Do you ever find yourself day dreaming about something, wishing it would happen but think to yourself that it never will? Do you know why some of your dreams or aspirations do not come to pass? We have to make them happen. I believe we have certain desires for a reason. All of a sudden you start thinking about that certain girl or guy from your past. You have no idea why you all of a sudden started thinking about them again and the thoughts of them linger. I believe they may be thinking about us at the same time. We put these thoughts in the back of our mind thinking we would never hear from them again or if we did there would be no chance of a reconnection. We have more power within ourselves to make things happen than we realize.</p>
<p>The law of attraction can bring doubt to reality. It is all in the way you think and visualize something. If you think something is not possible then usually it fails. You have to have a desire first, then you have to repeat to yourself that you now have whatever it is you desire. So if you want to bring someone back into your life you must visualize them actually in your life and you must tell yourself they are back in your life. You are attracting positive energy to yourself by accepting it and allowing it to happen. Doubt will quash your desire. Doubt is negative energy and it will block positive energy. In the next paragraph I will offer a few easy steps on how to attract what you desire. This will work for almost anything you desire in your life, as long as it has a good energy.</p>
<p>I start with a meditative state in a quite candle lit room. I clear my mind and start visualizing my desire as if what I desire is already mine. I confirm this desire by telling myself it is mine. In essence; desire, visualize, and verbalize and repeat this process over time until what you desire is now yours. This could happen immediately or it may take a while, depending on how strong your attraction is to the positive energy. You can use incense, very low music, or whatever it is that will relax you. Water works well for some people so you can sit in a candle lit bathroom in a bath tub of water and do this exercise.</p>
