About: Hello – I am Maxine a psychic and writer. My passion for the spiritual arts and writing serve me well in this venue. Writing has always been an intriguing aspect of my life, the Internet gave me a new and exciting way in which to communicate with others all over the world. In 2001 I founded e-groups, “Sangha for Independents” also “Buddhist Inmate Sangha” (sangha means community) these groups provide a community for those who practice independently. We support the practice by sending books and writing letters to prisoners who wish to know about Buddhism or are Buddhist and have no one to share the practice with. Writing to others about life experiences is a joy bringing me closer to my spiritual center.
Business and the arts took center stage in my younger life. My father being the founder of Snapple gave me strong roots in the business world. I became a make-up artist and hairstylist with a career spanning twenty years both in New York and California. This gave me a great education in that i got to talk to many different people everyday in-depth reinforcing my psychic knowledge base. I lived on both coasts and for seventeen years shared ownership of a kennel allowing me to make deep connections with animals.
Back east once again I am enjoying working with Psychic Source – writing for me is like eating, without it I would starve.See Authors Posts (27) - No Comments
Much to my disappointment I have been fast forwarding through many of the performances both on the mega hit TV shows, Dancing With the Stars and American Idol. It seems that the very beginning of the shows, where the funny stuff happens, has become one of the better parts. Once in a while some really good dance or song will come out of the evening and I just thank goodness for DVR’s- or all I would watch would be the cable stations where the entertainment and the actors are top »

1.) If you met on the Internet and he lives local do not explore the relationship any more than two weeks. If you have not had a date or met for coffee or a drink… it is not going any place. 2.) If a man is ready to start to date he will not have to clear his calendar to fit you in. Take the hint and back off. 3.) If you are with a man in another state and he wants you to move to him… like the song »

Is there a method to this madness? YES there are many ways to combat the “spring cleaning blues” and put your environment in the pink. We have the power to create our environment to have the flow of energy to please us and cocoon us – our home, car and office are the mainstays of our environment. Keeping things clean and as clutter free as possible can be a challenge in this busy day and age. I know it is hard to rid oneself of precious ‘things’ and even harder »

Much to my chagrin the competition is very weak this year… I had to fast forward through quite a few of the performances as it seemed like it was armature night at the Apollo and not the hottest show on TV (where millions of people watch to see who the next singing sensation and recording artist will be). I only remember a few of the singers and not because they were great but because they were terrible. How sad is this – is it fixed? Do they tell these young »

I love the movies; I love being swept away by the amazing beauty, stellar acting, fantastic music and heart pounding story lines. It is fun for me to be able to cast my unofficial psychic vote for the winners of this year’s golden statue named “OSCAR”. Whither your name is Tiger or you are born in the year of the Tiger it sure is going to be one sexy, fierce and fast paced year. For the rest of us born in one of the eleven other signs of the Chinese zodiac it will be a time of bravery, trying new things and prosperity. And the overall vibration of rebellion. Before Buddha left this earth he called all the animals to him to say farewell and as the Ox stood first in line the little smart Rat »

Ask a romantic, sexy male, “what is the way to a woman’s heart?” and I bet ya they say “shoes”. One sexy lead male on the hit show “Mad Men,” (John Slattery) abides by the love of shoes by women. Just like the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach… the way to a woman’s heart is through shoes. I developed my love of shoes as a child, having to wear saddle shoes, white bucks and on special occasions, the only shoes with style in my closet: the »

Love; the essence of life. In my quest for the deepest and most profound love I could find, I have listened to, watched, applied and tested many exercises and concepts regarding amore. Lust When a person is looking for love the first thing that attracts them is the chemistry (even if you meet over the phone or the internet, there is chemistry). I did not think it was possible, but put to the test, it is indeed a fact: chemistry can and does come through. In other words the “lust” »

It was the Sunday before Thanksgiving and the year was 1974; my two roommates and I set out to have some fun; a little dancing, a little drinking and the hopes of each of us meeting a man to spend New Year’s Eve with. We went to one of my favorite clubs on the east side of Greenwich Village, three floors down with a comfortable feel and a nice dance floor (which I spent most of my time on while in the club). When we first walked in I »
