About: Hello – I am Maxine a psychic and writer. My passion for the spiritual arts and writing serve me well in this venue. Writing has always been an intriguing aspect of my life, the Internet gave me a new and exciting way in which to communicate with others all over the world. In 2001 I founded e-groups, “Sangha for Independents” also “Buddhist Inmate Sangha” (sangha means community) these groups provide a community for those who practice independently. We support the practice by sending books and writing letters to prisoners who wish to know about Buddhism or are Buddhist and have no one to share the practice with. Writing to others about life experiences is a joy bringing me closer to my spiritual center.
Business and the arts took center stage in my younger life. My father being the founder of Snapple gave me strong roots in the business world. I became a make-up artist and hairstylist with a career spanning twenty years both in New York and California. This gave me a great education in that i got to talk to many different people everyday in-depth reinforcing my psychic knowledge base. I lived on both coasts and for seventeen years shared ownership of a kennel allowing me to make deep connections with animals.
Back east once again I am enjoying working with Psychic Source – writing for me is like eating, without it I would starve.See Authors Posts (27) - 2 Comments
The passion that comes to the keyboard is an incredible experience, one which I have had when I first got on the internet. Was it cheating, to be married and chat with guys late at night? I did not think so! Yet, in a short two week period, I had my heart broken and had to piece together a failing marriage. When I asked my husband for a kiss he told me, and I quote, “kiss the computer.” Cause and Effect – my mantra! The calls I receive about love »

About: Hi, my name is Moira. I've been with Psychic Source for since October 26, 2005. As one of the Astrologers with Psychic Source I will occasionally write about the planetary dance. Dates are especially significant to me and I look to the stars and the interactions of the planets when I am making major decisions. On my first day with Psychic Source, Jupiter, the planet of expansion and good luck entered Scorpio and my eighth house of partnerships. The celestial connections did not disappoint! Psychic Source continues to be a wonderful family and all around great place to BE!
When I'm not "on the line" I enjoy a quite life. My husband and I live on a small farmette with our horses, dogs, and cat. Our home is at the end of a long (half mile) lane. One of my passions is gardening and my healing garden includes favorite perennials, herbs, and vegetables. Like many gardeners, I love to cook and I especially enjoy receiving your recipes!
Those who know me well would describe me as a book worm. It's true I love to read, anything and everything. Long before I began to use my psychic ability professionally, I read everything I could find about Astrology, higher metaphysics, and history. One of my "Blog goals" is to share insights and book reviews with you from time to time.
The Psychic Source Blog is the place to keep in touch and share your ideas. I like to think of Blogging as the virtual Salon; a gathering or an ongoing conversation with the purpose of pleasing and educating. I feel very blessed to have connected with many of you through phone readings and I hope to hear from you via the blog soon!See Authors Posts (17) - 2 Comments

The Harvest Moon of September is the Moon which we associate with the coming of the Autumn, in the West of the Wheel of the Year which many Native Americans call the Medicine Wheel. According to Cherokee beliefs, the guardian of the West of the Medicine Wheel is ‘Yona’, the Grizzly Bear. When the Grizzly hibernates, he does not sleep but rather he dreams; dreams of where the most succulent salmon are to feed him, the juiciest berries are to satisfy his cravings for sweet things, and where the herbs »

When we often think of mediation, images of a person sitting perfectly still while masterfully controlling their every thought come to mind. This traditional mindfulness mediation is a powerful practice, but there are so many activities for our mind, bodies and spirit that are equally transformative. The regular practice of Gratitude is a great alternative for a meditative practice. “But, isn’t gratitude an emotion or an expression of thanks?” Well, gratitude certainly can be. But I’m referring to Gratitude as a pervasive, persistent reflective state of mind that involves the »

About: From the age of six I would sit in our basement at my father's desk and write. Only instead of poems and stories, I would write who would be famous after hearing them sing (the Beattles), who would be in an accident, and basically, all my stories were about predictions! I wasn't much for the outside games (nobody picked me) so I spent a lot of time on solitary activities. While married and raising children, I spent most of my time keeping them safe and doing a lot of volunteer work.
My main activity using my gift (while raising my children) was to help others with children who were lost, hurt or killed. I never really considered using my gift as a job until my children were grown, but I really enjoy my work and the opportunity to help so many people. My greatest joy at work is connecting clients with loved ones who have died. Giving someone the opportunity to talk to their mother or father, son or daughter, gives me so much happiness.See Authors Posts (2) - No Comments
My greatest joy is connecting someone to a lost loved one. I want them to know that the person is their lost loved one, so I make sure to totally describe them. The deceased person identifies themselves by various methods, a five card hand of poker, twirling a basketball, standing next to a motorcycle or by identifying their favorite color of suit (royal blue). There are so many precious and memorable events in connecting with loved ones, but I just want to mention a few… One of my clients has »

Today in meditation, my thoughts traveled back in time to when I first started doing psychic readings – and I thought how organic and uncontaminated those readings were, in that I was so new and read more from pure insight then knowledge of the oracles. As I delved into the realms of the psychic world I found ways to use my abilities to better my life by doing readings for prospective men as well as friends in general. This gave me a great foundation in which to develop my abilities. »

In the practice of numerology, 9 is considered a vibration of endings, completion, accomplishing, flexibility and most of all, mystical in its nature. No matter what you do with a 9 (or three 9’s) it always factors out to a 9. So what can we expect on a day such as today… one thing I want to mention is that we are not factoring in the 2 in 2009 – if we did, this day would actually be a 2 day because in numerology, the 9 gets canceled out by »

It is that magical time of year again. A time for do-overs, re-evaluations, repairs, resolution and solution-finding, introspection and reflection. A new Mercury Retrograde period begins September 7th and ends September 30th. What is Mercury Retrograde? The Earth turns on its own axis, and while turning, it revolves around the Sun. The zodiac (made up of 12 signs) is a stationary belt that encircles the Earth. We relate other planets to Earth through their positions to the zodiac belt that surrounds Earth. When Mercury appears to be traveling “backwards” in »

According to some Native American traditions, the Moon is considered to be the Grandmother of all life on Earth. They see her as having thirteen different personalities; one for each Lunar month. Even the Turtle, the symbol for Earth with many indigenous peoples, has thirteen segments on its back; one for each Moon of the year. The Full Moon of September 2009 is called the Healing Moon. The Healing Moon won’t always fall in September. The Healing Moon is actually the eighth Moon of the year, and it has its »
