About: Hello – I am Maxine a psychic and writer. My passion for the spiritual arts and writing serve me well in this venue. In 2001 I founded e-groups, “Sangha for Independents” also “Buddhist Inmate Sangha” (sangha means community) these groups provide a community for those who practice independently. Business and the arts took center stage in my younger life. My father being the founder of Snapple gave me strong roots in the business world. I became a make-up artist and hairstylist with a career spanning twenty years both in New York and California. About: I became interested in reading Tarot when I was 15 and my friend had a set of cards. I played, explored, practiced and began to read for friends and family. I began reading professionally in the late 80's. I have always been intuitive and fascinated by the unknown. I am a Libra-Scorpio girl with Neptune conjunct my sun so I think that accounts for me always studying the mysteries of life. About: From the age of six I would sit in our basement at my father's desk and write. Only instead of poems and stories, I would write who would be famous after hearing them sing (the Beattles), who would be in an accident, and basically, all my stories were about predictions! I wasn't much for the outside games (nobody picked me) so I spent a lot of time on solitary activities. While married and raising children, I spent most of my time keeping them safe and doing a lot of volunteer work.
My main activity using my gift (while raising my children) was to help others with children who were lost, hurt or killed. I never really considered using my gift as a job until my children were grown, but I really enjoy my work and the opportunity to help so many people. My greatest joy at work is connecting clients with loved ones who have died.
