Home dwelling Crabs tend to excel at cooking. If you invite them for potluck’ at your home they would be more than happy to join in and amaze you with their natural gifts. My Cancer husband loves to grill and we often throw this marinated Ahi Tuna on the fire and serve with a big salad of fresh greens from our garden and a berry bowl for dessert.

Those born under the horoscope sign Cancer, birthdays begin with the Summer Solstice it’s only fitting to throw a party to celebrate the Cancer native in your life. This recipe for tuna kabobs serves a cozy group of four; however you can easily double it! Moon Baby Ahi Tuna Kabobs

Loving the fish – my second husband is a Cancer actually born on the forth of July – while living in California he did a bit of deep sea fishing and met some great fisherman in the Channel Islands. Becoming friends with the fisherman was quick to happen and one year right before the forth of July they caught a great white shark. 2000 pounds, now that’s a fish!!! we were having about a hundred people over for a birthday party and the fisherman gave us about 80 pounds of great white shark. We cooked it on the grill, it was a very interesting thing to eat, it only took a minute before all the fish was gone.
I love sushi and tuna is one of my favors.
Thanks for sharing your recipe – i will be happy to give it a try.
HAVE A HAPPY 4TH OF JULY – happy grilling and eating.
& happy birthday all you Cancers.

Wow! great recipe Moira! kitty, and I love Ahi Tuna! you really know your spices! I have a recipe to share: “Mama Mia Mushrooms”, they are stuffed Porabella mushrooms! these can be grilled, or broiled, and the stuffing can be altered. Saute the mushrooms in sherry, a tad of olive oil, fresh crushed garlic, then, use sour dough bread crumbs, butter, sherry, parsley, sage, thyme, marjoram, white pepper, sweet basil, old bay seasoning, oregano, mix till firm. Fill the mushrooms with the filling, add fresh lump crab meat, and grated swiss cheese, then bake or broil till done! for more fun add a little polenta, or minced artichoke for texture. These can be enjoyed alone, or as a burger! enjoy! we thought cancer the crab would enjoy this, or any other sign

Happy Birthday Abbie! I hope you have an outrageous day, evening, dinner, and celebration! and don”t forget to make a wish when you blow out the candles on your cake! I only put one candle on my cake as, I do not want to start a fire!{joke} Some restaurants have free dinners on your day, or two for one, you might want to check it out? Dennys, is one, a humble choice, or there are many upscale others. Happy Birthday to all Cancers!

Diane, Thank you, I had a wonderful birthday month, (yes, I celebrate the whole month, I am worth it! LOL) As for the wish, well, it’s a secret, but beginning to come true! And thankfully, no fire department calls!

Big Hugs!

P.S. Happy Birthday to all of my fellow Cancers out there, hope it was a good one!
