About: Hi, my name is Moira. I've been with Psychic Source for since October 26, 2005. As one of the Astrologers with Psychic Source I will occasionally write about the planetary dance. Dates are especially significant to me and I look to the stars and the interactions of the planets when I am making major decisions. On my first day with Psychic Source, Jupiter, the planet of expansion and good luck entered Scorpio and my eighth house of partnerships. The celestial connections did not disappoint! Psychic Source continues to be a wonderful family and all around great place to BE!
When I'm not "on the line" I enjoy a quite life. My husband and I live on a small farmette with our horses, dogs, and cat. Our home is at the end of a long (half mile) lane. One of my passions is gardening and my healing garden includes favorite perennials, herbs, and vegetables. Like many gardeners, I love to cook and I especially enjoy receiving your recipes!
Those who know me well would describe me as a book worm. It's true I love to read, anything and everything. Long before I began to use my psychic ability professionally, I read everything I could find about Astrology, higher metaphysics, and history. One of my "Blog goals" is to share insights and book reviews with you from time to time.
The Psychic Source Blog is the place to keep in touch and share your ideas. I like to think of Blogging as the virtual Salon; a gathering or an ongoing conversation with the purpose of pleasing and educating. I feel very blessed to have connected with many of you through phone readings and I hope to hear from you via the blog soon!See Authors Posts (15)
And then there were two…
We’re down to the final week of season 8 of American Idol and what a wild ride it’s been! From the early weeks watching the sometimes painful auditions to the drama of Hollywood week and the comedy of Nick “Normund Gentle” Mitchell, “bikini girl”, and the over the top drama of Tatiana Del Toro. I was almost relieved with the selection of the “top 13″ made special by the handsome Anoop Desai (oh come on he is really cute.) I’ve loved watching season 8 of American Idol!
I’m relatively new to the American Idol cultural phenomenon, as I’ve only been watching for 3 years and only happened to watch because I was stuck in hospital and had nothing else to do but lie in bed and watch TV for six boring days. I couldn’t believe it; how could I have been missing this? Sadly my pick did not win, but he went on to sell a lot of CDs.
What is it about this show that draws us? I’ve asked you who you think will win and I’ve made my prediction. Now I wonder if you would share your feelings about what makes you watch?
The finale will air this Tuesday and Wednesday with the contest between two very talented people Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. My DVR is set to record. I’ve also picked out my outfit to wear Wednesday night… What do you think???

mostly i watch becasue i like being entertained. from the beginning of the show to the last drop of tears it is pure entertainment.
i thought that the cape was a slam to the other singers and IMHO rude. the judges too slant the winner. the fact however is that everyone is a winner if they get on the show to begin with. i don’t vote – i did season one but knew it was pre-destined from the start who gets the crown.
the singer i thought was going to win came in third this season. i did not like some of the 10 that made it through. anoop dog being one of them – lil was ok but no wee-o – it was the top three that had it all along (imo).
i watch because i enjoy seeing up and coming talent – how the kids are groomed for stardom – how the judges judge – the styling of the singers, the mentors – loved the smokey robinson week –
i enjoy tv on the whole – now with flat tv’s, surrond sound, fios, hd and the drv it is better than the movie threater…
enjoy,

Kris Allen is still my pick as winner of A.I. He has a vulnerable quality about him and is to my mind a more marketable talent. He has that “boy next door” and the kind of boy you would take home to Mama quality about him. Down to earth, very sweet and sensitive. I’m also a huge fan of “Dancing with the Stars”. In the “good old days” I was an Arthur Murray Gold Medal Champion, in the Latin dances. My pick for winner there is Gilles. His Paso is superb and he is so handsome. Shawn is adorable and her free-style performance was perfect. She’s a real cutie. But I think Gilles will win the trophy.

Ivy – I’m hoping for Kris, too! As an artist, I think he is much more versatile and relevant than Adam. While Adam is an extremely talented vocalist, Kris is a more appealing, broader reaching artist that will cross over age groups and genres much easier than Adam Lambert.
Does who wins really matter though? Both of these boys will get a record deal!

Yes, I agree that both will get record contracts and have long careers. They are GREAT artist.
But Kris is so adorable that I think your right that he will reach a broader fan base and perhaps even have longer staying power. We’ll see what happens tonight.

it sure is one of the best ldols ever. Adam is so Mick Jager/David Bowie and both these artists stood the test of time.
Kris is more of a Bob Dylan/Donavan (mellow yellow) kind of singer with an edge.
it must be so hard for the ones that made it to the top ten to be sitting there thinking it could of been me! it is interesting how america is molding the music of the future with this show. loving it…
oh my Ivy wasn’t that an upset on ‘dancing’ i swear i almost cried

Ohhh,it was painful to see that. As far good dance skills go Gille was absolutely the tops. His lines were so good and posture just perfect and he is so graceful. Truly a really fine dancer. It just broke my heart. Not that Shawn did’nt do a great job and after all it was very, very close as far as the votes went. Oh well, until next season then. Keep watching and your right about this show shaping American music of the future.

i watched the show twice thank goodness for the drv. what a shocker this one was yet it is okay as adam will go down in history for being who he is – to actually see an icon in the making. kris is everlasting and watch out for danny there will be some really good music coming from this dynamic trio.
what fun, santana, rod stewart, the blacked peas and fergie, kiss, queen, wow. and my favorite cindy singing with allison – wasn’t that a beautiful piece those two girls did. time after time…
in order not to have american idol postpartum depression i stayed tune to watch “so you think you can dance” and got my fix of fab tv.
looking forward to season 9 NINE being the number of endings, completion, and acheiving great goals.
happy tv viewing,
