Wishful thinking, positive attitude or affirmations… what works and is there a difference?

Do thoughts affect our lives?  Many clients have asked these very questions. In a time where the world can be quite confusing and seem hopeful, it can be difficult to keep your chin up and think positively. Those that do though, have a much better outlook on life, the future and are more capable of accepting love into their life.

Thoughts are living, breathing things and affect you greatly. Quotes such as: “Ask and you shall recieve,” speak to this very subject. That what you put out into the Universe will come back in some form or another. When we are able to direct our thoughts to the good in people, the good in the world, we formulate good energy.

Have you ever heard that happiness is contagious? People who laugh, find joy in things, socialize with others tend to live longer, healthier lives. So what are you waiting for! Here are some tips on creating good thoughts, in turn creating a happier life.

1. Let go of things.

Hanging onto things that can not be changed is unhealthy and counterproductive. Learn from your mistakes and move on.

2. Take charge of your life.

If you feel like something isn’t working for you, change it. Only you have the power to do so. Feeling responsible for what happens to you will give you power to make it happen.

3. Socialize with positive people.

Surrounding yourself with people who have positive outlooks, who share your good energy so to speak, will help propel you.

4. Be kind to yourself and others.

Random acts of kindness not only make others feel good, they help set into motion the affect of positive.
