A few weeks ago, I was reading for one of my regular callers, let’s just call her Rosemary, who works in the health care profession. She was having trouble at work with a co-worker, Mae, who constantly belittled her in the presence of her patients, as well as other co-workers.
I used the 10 card spread, the Celtic Cross, and pulled a outcome card from my favorite angel deck. It was immediately apparent to me that Rosemary worked full time while Mae wanted a full time job but currently works on a part-time, as needed basis. Mae was filled with fear and jealously.

And was trying to give Rosemary so much trouble and grief that she would leave her job, paving the way for Mae to step into her shoes.

I assured Rosemary that Mae’s inappropriate comments, especially in front of patients, had been noticed by other co-workers, one of whom had started to secretly log the date and the time of Mae’s unprofessional words and deeds. I also knew that not only would Mae never be hired on a full time basis, but that in fact, her days at this job were numbered. I suggested to Rosemary that she also keep a log of the date and the time of Mae’s inappropriate comments and other actions, as having two people keeping logs on this would be extra validation of Mae’s unprofessional and hurtful words and deeds.

Rosemary had a second concern: she was worried about taking an entrance exam at a prestigious university. I saw that she would score 980, which was twenty points lower than the required score for this particular program, I also told her that she would retake the test the next time it was offered and that her score would be 1000+, and she would be happily attending the program in the next Fall term. I also told her she would be very happy in this program, and it would be there that she would meet her life partner.

Rosemary is a Psychic in her own right but like most Psychics she cannot read for herself. She hesitated and told me that she saw a young man who identified himself as my son. My only son, Demetri, had passed away over a year ago. She told me he had flashing blue eyes and a mischievous grin. Demetri then opened the way for another person to come through, a cousin of hers who had passed away recently. Like my Demetri, her cousin had died by his own hand. Rosemary’s cousin thanked her for THE flower, and she started to cry.

It is important to note that when a spirit shows up, at some point in the reading, there will be a detail that only the client and the departed one know about. In this case, at the end of the grave site service, Rosemary had loving placed a single yellow rose on his casket.

Demetri seemed to be helping the young man communicate with her. Her cousin, like every suicide I have ever communicated with, relayed his deep regret over his actions. He asked Rosemary to go to see his mother and tell her he was sorry and that he was ok. His mother was terrified that as a suicide, her son would be in a dark place and would never be forgiven for his actions. He wanted her to know that he was in a place of light and goodness and was beginning the process of his own healing. He relayed a few more personal messages for his mother. Rosemary was able to ask him questions and I was able to relay his answers to her. She also promised to visit his mother and relay all that he had said to her.

I have been doing medium work since I was a small child. I have learned that not only is the message healing for the survivor, but is also a healing experience for the person who has passed over. People who pass suddenly without the chance to say goodbye, not only want to say goodbye but also want to reassure and comfort those who have been left behind. And those who have committed suicide, are aware of the agony this act has caused loved ones and desperately try to communicate that they deeply regret what they have done and also that they are ok. In centuries past, people who committed suicide were often denied burial in a cemetery and the family was often forced to bury the person in an unmarked grave at the center of a cross road. Thank goodness this terrible custom is no longer followed. And in a more enlightened age, we know that no soul is left alone and that almost all pass into the light and are in a place of tranquility and bliss.

Of the many types of readings I do, medium reading are my favorite. People are often in tears at the beginning of the reading and many are laughing at the end of the reading. It is so rewarding to be able to help make a connection that is so healing and comforting for both the departed and loved ones left behind. We are assured that the people and pets we love so dearly not only survive death but go on to have all kinds of experiences and adventures. If you have a loved one and long to communicate with them, I would be honored to read for you. I know in a matter of seconds whether or not I can communicate with a specific person, and I almost always can.
