This month, we celebrated Mother’s Day…and got an overwhelming response from our gifted Psychics about stories and memories they wanted to share. We’ll continue to share them with you throughout the month.

This year I have watched our state take on hundreds of Haitian orphans, and I am grateful to be a single mother and foster parent. My mother taught me that strength comes from within, and to dig deep for more, because there is always more.

Mother’s Day used to be tough for me, as I have missed her since her death. But, her purpose, which was to raise self-sufficient, independent human beings lives on in me and my children. We keep our love for her alive and will each time we mother ourselves in the way she taught me, and I have taught my daughters.

So, vow to mother yourself the best way you know how, and baby the precious gifts of Spirit budding and growing inside of you. My ability to mother myself is a gift given to me by my Mom and passed on to my daughters, knowing that the example I set being shown back to me in their experiences and actions is the very best gift of all. I don’t need a spa day, because I already gift myself ongoing care. I don’t require gifts of jewelry or dinners out. Just watching my daughter fold her own clothes, or make scrambled eggs brings to me the greatest gift of all….. a beautiful memory of my mother living on, now today, this moment in that beautiful self-sufficient daughter, showing me she can do it all by her big girl self.

May you gift yourself the realization that your precious efforts can never be replaced or restored, so enjoy absolutely every second of your eternal motherhood.
