I wrote this poem to my mother before her passing ….what a  wonderful Mom. This poem was published 2003 .

This is a Love shared by many a story once told.
This child a heart and soul like a mountain of Gold.
This Love Story shared by a mother is very old.

The life of promise God sends a child with love’s delight.
The life a gift perfect the child eyes that twinkle very bright.
The life a soul who seeks for mothers love day and night.

A mother promised to comfort a heart never to be broken.
A mother will enfold her child a harsh word never spoken.
A mother can honor god’s gift her heart she gives token.

The mother keeps a heart and dreams her child from the cold.
The child will leave to share a story with honor brave and bold.
The love Story can be shared by many a story many once told.

My mother a token and her love through god to share a story very old.
My mother with her love her heart is true her own story told.
My mother the promise to enfold my life the story is rich with gold.

Now I am my mother to honor God’s promise the love and treasure.
Now I know my mothers desire to love and give her pleasure.
Now I tell the love Story from a mother’s heart that is true.

This gifts my child of god a promise to love a treasure of Gold.
This many loves of mother’s hearts unspoken words never told.
This mother has a love story to share her treasure is very old.
