For years, I have been trying to get my mom to relax and to meditate. This has been a constant battle with her and she would say she isn’t into all the metaphysical things that I am: energy or being in touch with the Universe. She only believed in one god Christ.
Okay fine, I stopped. Never brought it up again.
Yesterday she calls me up and says, “I just came back from visiting a Buddhist Temple and watching all the buddist put sands on their altar it was beautiful I’m meditating every day now.”
Same mother, who hated meditated has discovered meditation and also the beauty of the universe through Buddah.
WOW mom I guess there are other gods after all, maybe now you won’t tease me so much when I tell you I’m talking to Apollo! GRIN
