Featured Psychic is resuming its series of posts where we will be “interviewing” our Psychics and sharing interesting tidbits about them with you. We are going to continue our interviews with Rainbow.
There is more to Rainbow than meets the eye…. she is a talented singer, songwriter, and storyteller, and has released two CD’s. She writes and teaches Tarot and other classes at a metaphysical school, and has written articles on crystals, dreams and other subjects for national magazines. Rainbow has been featured on national radio for both her music and her past-life readings. She loves watching So You Think You Can Dance — because she knows she can’t! Her heritage is both Cherokee and English, and she feels as much at home in deerskins as she does in Celtic robes. Rainbow’s fudge is famous in her locality, she is a long-time vegetarian, and she also does all her baking and cooking from scratch. She has a large garden where she grows vegetables, flowers, and even herbs for her own soaps and herbal preparations. Below you find some more interesting facts and insights about Rainbow.
Was there someone in your life who nurtured your gift?
My late Medicine Elder, who was my teacher, my kindred spirit, and my best friend. He wasn’t well schooled, but he knew more about working with energy than anyone I’ve ever met before or since. I feel blessed beyond words that I was able to share part of my Earthwalk with such a man.

What is one piece of advice you would like to pass on to others?
Happiness is a choice. The time to be happy is now. The place to be happy is here.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be and why?
That’s a hard one, because I believe that everything happens for a reason, and everything — and everyone — is just who, what, when, and where they should be. Having said that, I think I’d be healthier if I shed a few pounds.

Who would play the role of you in a movie?
I’d like to think that some little-known actress who is as nutty as I am could play me, and rise to the peak of stardom for doing so! Failing that, probably Stockard Channing. Kiera Knightly is pretty cool, too…

If a genie granted you one wish, what would you wish for?
I’d wish for everyone else’s wishes to come true.

What 3 words would others use to describe you?
Intuitive, creative, compassionate.

If you could have dinner with 3 people, dead or alive, who would you pick and why?
My Medicine Elder, because I miss him so, the Christ, because I’d love to hear his message straight from his mouth, and Ram Das, because his teachings resonate with my spirit.
