Whither your name is Tiger or you are born in the year of the Tiger it sure is going to be one sexy, fierce and fast paced year. For the rest of us born in one of the eleven other signs of the Chinese zodiac it will be a time of bravery, trying new things and prosperity. And the overall vibration of rebellion.

Before Buddha left this earth he called all the animals to him to say farewell and as the Ox stood first in line the little smart Rat ran right through his legs assuming his place in line as number one. The animals that came to bid ado were twelve, each of which is said to be the animal residing in your heart. The Buddha gave each animal their own year just for showing up, making up the twelve year cycle. Below is how I see each animal doing in the year of the Tiger.

Rat ~ lets face it; the Tiger would love nothing more than to take a bite out of the rat, so in order to survive, the Rat must be smart and one step ahead of the Tiger. In a positive way, the Tiger energy will give the Rat motivation and will have many people lusting for them throughout the year, both romantically and in the career realm.

Ox ~ if the sturdy Ox fell short last year in accomplishing goals the Ox will have an easier way to go in the year of the Tiger, being able to get done what needs to be done.  For the Ox, the Tiger energy is be about motion and will make a way to break out of old patterns.

Tiger ~ well finally it is your turn to be empowered. Last year you took the bull by the horns and fared well. This year you are in your element and you need to embrace it. Setting your sights high will serve you well. This is your year for fun and getting your way – being upfront or pushy will serve you well in getting your share of life’s joys.

Rabbit/Cat ~ if you hop around or purr (which ever animal you relate to better), it is sure to be a year of excitement and beauty. Completing classes or finishing up work related projects will be very compelling giving you much to focus on. An air of independence surrounds you as you make ready for the next year which is going to be yours.

Dragon ~ stop brooding come out of the cave and play, this fast paced year holds lots of excitement for the sometimes physically lazy dragon. There will be lots to do with family and friends not just work. After all, my dear Dragon. you are the luckiest one out of all the zodiac, so play, dance, love; it is all good for you this year. Make sure you buy new shoes if you plan on exercising…

Snake ~ how the Snake loves to play with the Tiger – new clubs are formed as the Tiger gives inspiration to the Snake, the oldest soul in the zodiac.  One of the Snakes greatest accomplishments this year will be coming together to help causes evolve. If it is up to the Snake this year no one will go without.

Horse ~ finally someone to run with… having fun getting involved with activities that have nothing to do with work will be somewhat amazing for my dear Horse. The Horse is a worker, a hard worker, but in the year of the Tiger there is a sense of fun that last year lacked. So from a lack luster year to one with sparkle and glitz, even working will be enjoyable and most profitable.

Sheep ~ if you are a single Sheep you will not be for long in the lovely year of the Tiger. This is the year where you have more than one person wanting to be with you. You will be sort after for you beauty and talent, giving way to creating new ideas for you to delve into. For the married or partnered Sheep, this is going to a year of bonding, deep conversations and making the relationship stronger than ever.

Monkey ~ oh boy! The Monkey is in all his glory this year. Just hop on top of the Tigers back and ride like the wind… having fun is never an issue for the humorous Monkey. The natural rebellion of the Tiger suits the Monkey well, as you move about with ease and manage any situation with grace and wit. Big bucks are within your grasp so keep your composure at all costs.

Rooster ~ run for the hills little bird – the big bad Tiger is going to be after you. This year it is important that you watch your back and make sure you do not tell everything to everyone. Yes we know the Rooster rules the roost yet stepping back and allowing others to have their way and say is very important this year to your well being. Remember put safety first.

Dog ~ young or old the Dog and the Tiger remain wonderful friends or lovers. The Dog will have a year full of inviting times with the very best of offerings. Even if you are not working this year you will find success with money in other ways. A time of mindful relaxing where vacations are plentiful. For the young Dogs a great year in school for the older Dogs it is a time where you can indeed learn some new tricks.

Boar/Pig ~ the year of the Tiger for the Boar/Pig is one of grandeur. All the elegance of the talented artistic Boar comes to light this year. If you are ready to publish your book, paint a masterpiece, develop a new idea, this is your time. You will need to push others out of the way so you get your share of opportunities. Being the last of the twelve to say good bye to The Buddha is a sign of your laid back nature and ability to protect from the back of the room. A quiet persona is not going to work for you this year, as the raging eleven before you also have equal opportunities. There might not be enough to go around so make sure you do not waste time along the way to your success.

May you all have a wonderful YEAR OF THE TIGER.
