What does “Healing” Mean?
Psychic Cynthia explores the Mind, Body and Spirit

Close Up Leaf & Water DropsHealing is a term widely used today and can often be confusing or ambiguous.  As a spiritual healer, I spent many years studying various healing techniques to the point where I can define the term “healing” for myself and apply it to building a bridge in the gap of all philosophies, studies, and sciences.

Healing is an act of transition and change, and in my personal definition, healing is synonymous with evolution. One of the misgivings in the term “healing” however is that it implies something is wrong, sick, and invalid. In creating the acronym with evolution, one can see that healing is natural and does not need to invalidate the soul in-order to transpire or bring about a higher state of being or resolve a shortcoming. To me invalidation (in-valid) is something that needs to evolve out of our approach to how we see ourselves and how we attend to our healing.

Mind, Body, Spirit
There are many parts that make up our human mechanic; our humanness is very complex. We have a physical body, a mental body, an emotional body, and a spiritual body (spirit). When one of those bodies is not in harmony with who we are, we need to attend to it. This is also an act of healing. We then need to evolve that particular body so that it is in harmony and flow with our other bodies and we restore well being, our natural state.

More often we tend to our evolution after we have built up resistance and not by joyful or playful means, thus we use the term healing to define the need to correct an imbalance more than we do for shifting, changing and growing. It is important to acknowledge this, and then go back to giving healing and growth a natural, holistic place in your Soul’s journey (even if you have an imbalance), so you can begin to enjoy the process.

When our physical body is imbalanced we go to a doctor for treatment or cure. With the emotional body, we see a therapist and so on. More often than not, when the psychical body feels an imbalance it is truly the last body to feel the imbalance, as everything of an imbalance happens with the spiritual body first and foremost. When one is able to heal the spirit, then the spirit is able to heal the body and the life experience. Our spirit is what moves us back to the natural state of well being. When the spiritual body is in charge of its growth and evolution the experience is healthy.

The spiritual body is our eternal mechanic; it is part of our divine self that is of pure consciousness and knowing. It will be here long after our physical body has gone and is very comfortable with evolution, thus it is always healing and transcending. To heal consciously is to live life as spirit intends, it is a holistic way of being that is centered in the intention to foster and cultivate from well being. As spirit chooses to offer this to your body, heal naturally, willingly, and joyfully…this is a validating and rewarding act that anticipates the experience of inner harmony which in turn allows your life experience to reflect this forward movement.
