My Gratitude

My gratitude starts as soon as my feet hit the floor. My prayer is always, “Hello, Universe, what can I do for you today?” The only times I have bad days are when I forget my focus; it’s not about me. It’s about what I can do to help make the path a bit smoother, the day a bit brighter, for everyone else.
I encourage everyone to keep a gratitude journal. Sometimes this can be hard to do, for always we will have challenges and opportunities to grow. This is why it is called “life,” and not “perfection!” My own journal has entries in it like: “I’m thankful my roof is leaking, because it affirms that I have a home to call my own, which is more than many people have!”
There is a wonderful Eastern proverb that says, “It is possible to appreciate the beauty of the tiger even as he crouches to devour us.” What this means to me is that there is beauty in everything, if we but have eyes to see it. Sometimes it is hard to see the beauty, or the purpose, when our hearts are aching and we are in such pain. Often, we’re not in the headspace to look for the beauty in these moments, or be thankful for them. Yet these are the moments when the beauty shines so bright that its light is blinding; these are the moments that grow our souls if we can just be open to the Infinite, willing to heal, willing to be thankful, willing to grow.
I’m truly thankful for every one of my clients. We’ve all got our soul-purpose, and it is the lovely people that call me, and writing opportunities like this, that enable me to fulfill my soul-purpose as a mediator, teacher, and healer. I feel so very blessed and privileged to have been chosen to do this job. You, my dear friends, are my gratitude made manifest!

Rainbow, you have brought the reason for our existence “home”. Following your advice will enable us to always see the sunshine (positive)!
Thank you for being you!!

Thanks stella. My Medicine Elders always taught that it wasn’t a path of acquisition, it was a path of service.
I pray I always remember that, and never give them cause to be disappointed in me.
