“Intuition is a spiritual faculty and does not explain, but simply points the way.”   Florence Scoval Shinn

I’m a Scorpio; a thinker, logical and for the most of the time, a down to earth person. Learning to trust my intuition took some applied effort even though I’ve been clairvoyant all of my life.

Many years ago, intuition was in the same category as “old wivestales;” it wasn’t based on facts that could be proven. This is not so today. Around the age of 10 my grandfather introduced me to the significance of my intuition, explaining to me that I would always “know the right way to go or the right thing to do” for my own good and the good of others. At first my practical, logical mind was in conflict with my intuition as it still is sometimes. With the encouragement of my mother to always “listen” to that quiet voice of wisdom I developed the ability to trust those “gut feelings.” It took several years for me to make that connection, and trust and rely on that still small voice within.

Intuition has been humanities best kept secret until recent years and it has been proven that it is not just an “old wives tale.” And the amazing thing about it is that EVERYONE has it. It is a wondrous and powerful gift. Doubt and fear are the main obstacles that keep us from living our lives guided by our intuition. Although the solar plexus is a source of our intuition, it is not the only source, but that is the best place to start when working on developing intuition. It takes time, focus and the ability to be calm, aware and observant of how your senses are reacting or receiving external information. Intuition will not give you answers, but will give direction and point the way.

It is worth the time and effort to develop and test this great gift. I try to live my life guided by my intuition and it is my mistake when I don’t listen, simply because that small inner voice is a divine gift: it is always right.

Although my “clairs” are developed and I use all of them when reading for others I always check with my intuition to make sure my information is accurate. Of course no Psychic is ever 100% accurate 100% of the time. But one that accesses their intuition, because it is our connection to the divine, can be more accurate. Intuition comes through feeling (gut feelings), sensing (a sensing through instinct or changes in the energy around you) and knowing (a clear and certain insight that carries no doubt).

In the process of discovering your “inner voice” the answers will be a simple “yes,” “no” or “wait.”Later you will begin to “hear” full sentences or even paragraphs. Developing communication with you and your higher-self involves some healing and can be painful sometimes, but you’ll find how loving and supportive it is and will always bring peace and lightness when making decisions about your life. Guidance by using your intuition will help in all areas of life; career, finances, jobs, business, health, love or whatever your concerns are. Life is not only more magical when lived by our intuition, but also more efficient. From life changing to the ordinary, your inner voice is always your best guide. Because it is connected to the divine, trust your intuition; it is always right.

Oh, Ivy, well said!

Everyone has the ability to be intuitive. Like playing a piano, or painting a picture, we can all learn to do it. However, not everyone is going to be Mozart or Van Gogh.

I believe that it is important that we listen to that inner voice, and follow where it guides us. That voice is there for a Divine reason, and stops us from trying to be square pegs in round holes. I agree wholeheartedly that listening to our inner voice helps to make our Earthwalk more efficient.

We each have our own talents, our own skills. Even within intuitive abilities, someone might be clairvoyant where someone else may be clairsentient or clairaudient. Someone else may be able to read auras, or be guided in the healing arts.

But no one skill is greater or lesser than another. No one person is greater or lesser than another. We are all part of the Universe, and it would be incomplete without each and every one of us.

Be Blessed!

in the deck of osho zen tarot there is a card “inner voice” this card is beautiful (blue and white) with a full moon face on which sits a face with beautiful white horns and two dolphins one on each side and a crystal in the middle, it is a card about centering, balance and deep profound listening negating all negative thinking.
when this card comes up in a reading i am without doubt able to tell my caller to pay attention, listen to and go with that “inner voice”. trusting ones “inner voice” is not easy to do as logic and mindfulness take place in our heads and sometimes that “inner voice” is hard to hear. i think our “inner voice” can come from different places like the heart as well as the mind and then there is also the intellectual knowledge one comes along with in life as well as what one learns during our walk on earth. confusion can come from all this “inner voice” talking bringing many callers that have this happening to them call us the psychics…
although we are all equal in a basic sense we do have different levels of skills – sometimes in my daily life I am confronted with issues that I feel are too big for me and knowing when to get help is very much about listening to your “inner voice”. it is in times like these that I am so happy there are people who have finer tuned skills than I do.
