Happy 2009! The New Year is sure to bring about many changes. How will it all play out? One of my favorite types of psychic readings is a numerology reading. So, I thought I’d consult the ancient science of Numerology to give some insight into the new year.

To get to the Numerological Value for 2009, we’ll have to do some math. Find the sum of the numbers in the year: 2+0+0+9 = 11. The next step is to add the two digits together, but not with 11. Eleven is considered a master number, along with 22 and 33, some Numerologists would argue other double digits are master numbers as well. A master number holds greater significance than other numerological values. Some Numerologists would say that master numbers pose challenges, and are often found to be difficult to embrace the energy they possess. If the energy can be mastered, it is considered a great success.

What can we expect from this 11 energy? Generally speaking, 11 in Numerology is the number of humanitarianism and innovation. It also has the traits of intuition, idealism, and tolerance. It offers a climate that can lend to great spiritual development and growth. Use this energy to understand who you are and where you are going. It sounds so very cosmic, right? But it’s not. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in everyone else’s business, we forget to take care of our needs. Being spiritually healthy means we are more confident and comfortable in our own skin. Great spiritual awareness can be empowering. Start meditating, take an art class, try yoga, take long walks, or just sit in your living room for a few moments each day in total silence. Whatever your spiritual needs, indulge them!
