I am always interested to learn of different traditions. Leo, do you know where the origins of the birthstone like this started? I ask, because in my traditions, Opal is the birthstone for the month of April, and it is Malachite that is the stone for October.

The metaphysical meaning of creativity (we use the term 'spark of creation', like the flash or the spark in the opal) is the same, just the timing. And isn't it interesting that, if we look on the Zodiac wheel, April is the opposite of October? Wonder if that comes into play, somehow, too?

I find different traditions absolutely fascinating, don't you?
