The traditional Birthstone of the month of March is Aquamarine, and although it is referred to as a gemstone it is actually a crystal and not a stone. This crystal ranges in color from light blue to deep sea azure. The most precious being the deepest blue color.

Ancient Greek sailors began a tradition of wearing aquamarine to please their God’s. This has since been passed down to sailors of all walks of life for their safe return and prosperous voyages.

Today Aquamarine is sometimes used to deepen meditation. Focusing with the energy the March birthstone can help with getting in touch with your spiritual being. This crystal is also said to bring courage, happiness, increased intelligence. Many people use it to treat their
