Hi again. The TV show Saving Grace has wrapped up it's current season already. Before I look at the finale, I had a few comments to share about the episode that aired last week first.
What yin yang energy it was. The lightheartedness of Grace playing with Earl – trying to see him in the shower was so sweet. Then the bloody scene that followed was horrifying. I have to say that this show has a way of taking the viewer through many realms of emotion, spirituality and the physical. The past few shows have taken me off the cop plot and has me looking deeper into the relationships of the characters. The crimes are horrific in nature and perhaps in my personal quest for non violence I look past the brutality which the show is not lacking.
What I have seen in Grace is empathy by how well she portrayed the nurse in the hospital room, I would say she was the perfect Virgo, both fulfilling the service of cop and nurse. In the hospital room with the burned boy she talked about hating the father who did this to his son and said she hated Earl’s father as well placing blame on both.
Earl makes you want an angel – he is everything I would think an angel should be.
Now I'm heading back to the TV to watch the season finale... I am sure it will be excellent to say the least. Until next time this is Maxine x7791 signing off.

Well, it happened today, someone I was giving a reading to wanted to know if the Tarot cards could tell her who would be the next President of the United States... John McCain or Barack Obama. What an intriguing question and here is what my guides asked me to share.
First, no, tarot readings cannot predict who will win elections any more than numerology can be counted upon to choose winning lottery numbers. The tarot is the story of life, from beginning to new beginnings and yes, there is a certain amount of direction which can be obtained through interpretation of the cards on many levels.
Next, we looked, together at the cards which came out in the 3 tiered spread I was asked by Spirit to use. (meaning I pulled 3 sets of cards for my layout). In my layout, the center card is the action card, the first spread found the Emperor there, the second pulled the Star and the final card was the Queen of cups. As the young woman I was speaking with saw things, the Emperor denoted aggression and I agreed, if we act in an aggressive fashion, making choices simply because we want to keep control, we run the risk of having to deal with an aggressive administration. With the Star card, we both saw the hopes and dreams of a nation and a people seeking the direction of our hopes and dreams as needing to be addressed. Finally, the Queen of Cups spoke to being open to nurturing ourselves, being open to receiving all information presented as Divine Guidance from Spirit (as the two preceding cards were from the major arcana which represents our the stations in life and the cup card representing the minor arcana which is how we choose to react to or handle any situation).
There was much more to the reading, yet what came from it was that she was being called upon, by Spirit, to educate as many people as possible to gather whatever information is available on the issues and the candidates. To point out that decisions made from apathy will result in a future filled with a dissociated government and an unhappy population. Yet, if in stressing the need to know more, we could become a more confident group of voters, thereby electing a President who has the potential to be open to nurturing our country for the choice came from our desire to nurture and be nurtured.
And remember whatever way you believe, and whoever speaks to you more, everyone needs to get out there this November 4th and VOTE! Make your voice heard!

As summer saunters on, we have another installment of our Summer Reading recommendations from our Psychic Advisors. To read our first installment, click here. I enjoyed learning about what is on the night stands of our favorite readers. I think what a person reads says a lot about his/her personality. So it’s fun to see how many of our readers enjoy diving into books like Harry Potter!
I don’t know about you all, but I found a number of great books to read. I followed Veronica (x7555) and Shantelle’s (x7771) lead and adored Eat Pray Love. I truly appreciated Moira’s (x7776) suggestion of looking into Look Me in the Eye, My Life with Aspergers. It gave me a new appreciation for those who are challenged with learning disabilities or socialization disorders. Both are great to read any time of the year. Next, I’m onto the Harry Potter series. I’m probably the last person on Earth to check these out of the library. Even though I’ve seen every movie and loved them, now I will finally dig into the book series! And for those of you craving more from the magical world of Harry Potter, you can also pre-order the collection of short stories The Tales of Beddle the Bard, which is being released on December 4th.
However, even though we are heading into the end of August, there’s still plenty of summer left to get in on the reading action. Here are more recommendations from our Advisors to check out of your local library or purchase from your favorite bookseller.
As you can imagine, a number of books about spirituality are at the top of the reading list. Books by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama are very popular. If you’re like Merci (x7794) and Rebecca (x7865), you may want to read one of the many books the Dalai Lama has penned - a favorite is The Art of Happiness.
Angels are also a very popular topic amongst our Advisors. Books authored by Doreen Virtue and Gustav Davidson are favorites among many Advisors, including Ivy (x7325).
The spirituality quest continues! Shirley MacClaine’s Sage-ing While Age-ing is on Janax’s (x7750) bedside table.
If you’re not into the soul searching thing this summer, perhaps you might want to dig into something a little more mainstream?
· Penelope (x7710) is reading John Gray’s Why Mars and Venus Collide: Improving Relationships by Understanding How Men and Women Cope Differently with Stress.
· Alexandra (x7860) suggests The PH Balanced Diet for Super Health and Glowing Beauty by Susan M. Lark, MD;
· For some light fluffy reading, Jonna (x7864) finds that reading books by Danielle Steele or Sophie Kinsella to be the perfect way to relax and recharge.
Now that you know what you might find in the reading bags of our Advisors, we’d like to know what is on your bookshelf. Do you share the same love for reading as our Advisors? We want to know! Tell us what you are reading!
Enjoy the rest of the summer.

Hi everyone... it's Moira and as you can see, I can now post as myself on the blog thanks to an update that was recently made. And the timing is great because, wow, is that Moon Full or what?
Sometimes, I wish I had my Mercury in Gemini or some other placement that gave me a gift of gab. Alas, my Mercury, my tricky little communicator is in Scorpio, the sign of self sufficiency and survivalist tuning. Scorpio wants to pare everything down to the bare essentials thus, when I feel something tremendous is about to happen, and I really, really want to express it, my mind goes blank and I utter something less eloquent or profound. Wow, gosh, yikes.
The Moon, the mechanism of response, the emotional barometer of the collective unconscious is in Aquarius, and moving rapidly toward a Full Moon – Partial Lunar Eclipse at 5:16pm Saturday August 16. This is a tremendous time; Aquarius ruler Uranus is in Pisces the psychic, imaginative ruler of the twelfth house, drawing upon the mutual receptivity of Pisces ruler Neptune in Aquarius.
Venus, the planet of love and abundance is in Virgo the sign of service and doing the right thing, as it forms a very beneficial Trine with expansive Jupiter in Capricorn. Our connectedness is profound; we can feel it now more than ever before.
I hear people saying that "time is speeding up". Perhaps it is that our perception of time as a human construct, as a form o
f measurement is actually shifting? Aquarius is the depositor of the Eleventh house of friendships, groups, connections. My feeling is that this Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, joined with a lovely Venus – Jupiter Trine will bring the larger "us" together. Maybe, we can all just stop whatever we are doing, in our busy, busy lives and acknowledge our connection to all that is.
Am I being a bit Pollyanna? Well, I do have my Mars in Libra…
Bright Blessings, Moira x7776

After a short break, we are back on the road again for another installment of my Summer Road Trip Series.
Stop #3 - California
Today we head west to California. Some people have called California “God’s Country”. From San Francisco all the way south to Palm Springs it’s incredible. If you’re planning a trip, why not consider California to refresh your mind, meditate, and center yourself? Here are some of my favorite places to rejuvenate in the Golden State.
Our journey begins in the Old Mission in Santa Barbara; it is both beautiful and inspiring!
There is a restaurant that was built around an enormous tree it is a site to see and a great spot to enjoy a meal. Santa Barbara is known as the American Riviera. There are magnificent ocean views and great antique shopping opportunities!
Looking to do a bit of soul searching? Find yourself while balancing on a surfboard and focusing on the waves. California beaches draw those who have a love for this sport.
The beaches on the West Coast are stunning, especially at sunset. It is a great place to find your spiritual center.
A California trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Los Angeles. While it may not sound like a spiritual retreat, a visit to Universal Studios and Hollywood are fun and will fill you up with a feeling of high energy and creativity.
Visit Graumans’ Chinese Theater in Hollywood where the footprints of the stars pave the way to old and new icons of the entertainment industry. If you are a movie buff this is the place to pick up the vibrations of those brilliant enough to have been honored with a star on the walk of fame.
Be sure to get a bite to eat at Pink’s Hot Dog Stand. In case you’re trying to figure out the spiritual significance of a hot dog, one bite of a Pink’s hot dog with their secret chili will have you swearing you have achieved Nirvana. In the mist of the good food, there are pictures of numerous Celebrities who have also experienced chili dog heaven.
When in San Francisco, make reservations at the Western St. Francis hotel. You will be in good company. Many famous people from Royalty to Hollywood movie stars have slept there! This hotel boasts an enchanting history, excellent staff and a prime location- it wears the crown and title of Top Commercial Hotel in this domain.
Take a trip back into the 60’s and relive the old days of peace and love at Haight Asbury.
With laid back eateries, street vendors and vintage clothing stores abound, one can only wish the prices were that of the 60’s, but there is a price to pay for vintage energy. The peace and love vibes remain and will bring a smile to your face and warmth to your sprit.
OK, I think that’s enough for one trip… Let’s gather up our souvenirs, refuel the car and reflect on the places we’ve been so far. I’ll be back again in a couple of weeks to share even more great vacation spots in beautiful California…

Hi – it’s Maxine. Due to a recent enhancement, I can now post on the Psychic Source blog as myself. Thanks to Marc for sharing all my previous articles but it is good to be ME again, he he! My bio appears HERE too if you want to read more about me!
Anyway, enough about me. Today I am back to review the second episode of the summer TV show Saving Grace (airing Monday nights at 10PM on TNT). If you missed my previous article, take a look HERE.
Now onto the show… Gus – they had to do it, pull the dog into the mix! I was so upset I blanked out on the rest of the show and only wanted to know if Gus was going to be found.
It took all I had not too fast forward to the part where they find him (I know I'm psychic and should of known and I guess I did but everyone needs a little drama in their life). As for the rest of the show, well the slap in the face that Grace gave Earl was the “OUCH” of all “ouch’s”. I thought how could she hit her angle? But after seeing her lying in Gus’ bed crying her heart out I felt her heartache – when she asked Earl if he could do her a favor with God and he said “it didn't work like that” that is when she hauled off and smacked him. Gritty stuff! Would you smack an angle?
I love the part where Loretta met Earl when handing out flyers about Gus and they touched hands and when Loretta told Grace she met him they laughed saying “she was touched by an angel”, nice writing.
On a related note, I thought about Pamela’s comment from my first post about looking forward to the new season of Medium and I am too. But what came about from that was the difference between the women in the shows.
Love, Angles, Psychic, “The Law”, Family Relationships, Dreams, Work Relationships all come into play in both shows. I like that they now have a website called embrace your grace. I am pretty sure that not all women have a Grace in them to embrace. Grace is shocking, funny as all get up and smart as a whip but mostly shocking. To me Grace is the Leather whereas Allison is the Lace.
Who do your vibrations resonate to? Me, I am a Grace!

As we say farewell to National Psychic Week, we want to remind you of one more way you can easily pay tribute and say Thanks to your favorite Psychic Source expert. It’s called our Testimonials Page and if you CLICK HERE you will be taken to it immediately. Scroll down and you will see over 1,000 entries from our customers who have taken a moment to share some amazing feedback from a recent reading they had.
It’s simple to leave a Testimonial. Just fill out the form located HERE. Shortly after review, testimonials are posted on the website for you to enjoy.
Please remember we cannot answer individual questions on the testimonials page. We value your opinions, and use your comments to help improve our service. If you ever want to ask a specific question, you can always e-mail the blog or click the link on the Testimonials Page.
To show we really do listen and consider all suggestions, several customers have said it would be easier to find a testimonial if it appeared under a specific advisor’s bio page on the website, rather than all in one long list. We are excited to announce that feature will be arriving on the website soon (planned to debut before the end of the year). So keep checking back and know that we do value and read all feedback and are constantly striving to improve your Psychic Source experience.
So before we wrap up National Psychic Week, we wanted to highlight just a handful of the recent Testimonials, and encourage you to visit the page to see even more and hopefully share some of your own kind words! As always, we love to hear from you!
Happy Psychic Week!

It is Friday. August 8th, 2008. Or 8/8/08. To many today is a very special day of the year. But just what is so significant about the number “8”?
Of course as you know the Beijing Summer Olympics are scheduled to begin today (go USA!). The Chinese government chose this date specifically because of their belief that the number 8 promotes luck and prosperity and is the sign of infinity.

Some will take the number 8, write it on a piece of paper and place it in their wallet for increasing their wealth. I have even heard of individuals having the number 8 tattooed on their body.
In numerological terms 8 represents success, money, material wealth and justice. Look to the political arena and watch the drama unfold both in China and with the upcoming Democratic Convention.
The Greek philosopher Pythagoras, often called the Father of Numerology, stated, “The world is built upon the power of numbers.” Therefore in a broader concept the entire universe is composed of mathematical patterns and all can be expressed in numbers. All things including words, birthdates, names, and birthplaces can be reduced to numbers to determine personalities, destinies and fortunes of individuals.
Something which is fun to do is to check out this website. You will find a birthday calculator to give you the significance of the date of your birth and a calculator to find out the meaning of your name.
So today, on 8-8-08, light a white/green candle for abundance and focus your intent on prosperity. Set aside some time and say an affirmation to take advantage of the triple 8 vibration such as “All that is mine by Divine Right is released and reaches me now in avalanches of abundance, under grace in miraculous ways.”
Do you have favorite or lucky numbers? If so let us know about them and what makes them so special to you!

For the past five years, Psychic Source has joined forces with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) in its support of NOCC’s mission to raise awareness and promote education about ovarian cancer. September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness month, and in hopes of jump starting efforts, Psychic Source has started its annual fundraising event in August.
Ovarian Cancer, with the nearly impossible to detect symptoms and warning signs, has been called the “silent killer.” The NOCC’s education campaign, “Break the Silence” is a national education program created to increase awareness and encourage public dialogue about the symptoms and risk factors of ovarian cancer among women and their physicians.
Psychic Source believes greatly in the need to spread awareness and is proud to aide in the efforts.
”The NOCC is grateful for the continued support of the Psychic Source and its clients. Increasing awareness about ovarian cancer is our goal during National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and NOCC is excited that Psychic Source joins us again this year in educating women and raising funds to support our mission.“ says Kristy Hensel, Director of Development for NOCC.
“Psychic Source stands firmly behind the NOCC’s mission to spread awareness and educate others about ovarian cancer,” says Maryanne Fiedler, Director of Marketing. “Being able to give to the cause for the fifth year in a row allows us, as an organization, to put our feet forward and move towards the common goal.”
During the month of August, Psychic Source customers will have the opportunity to donate $1.00 to any package they purchase. With every dollar donated, Psychic Source will match the contribution. Botn new and existing customers can aide in the cause.
“At Psychic Source,” states Fiedler, “our customers have told us they walk away after a reading with a light, insightful feeling. With our NOCC partnership, we want them to have the option of getting insight while contributing to an important cause.”
Everyone who would like a psychic reading and contribute toward the education and awareness of ovarian cancer at the same time can call Psychic Source at 1-800-732-0797.
