Capricorn’s ruler Saturn has been traveling though socially correct, fair minded Libra since 2009. This week, on Tuesday February 7th at 9:03 Am., the day of the Full Moon in optimistic Leo, Saturn turns retrograde as it does yearly during the winter months. This karmic giant draws our focus inward during the retrograde cycle; we can release concern for labels such as ‘good’ or ‘bad’. Saturn retrograde in Libra gives us one more opportunity to contemplate our blessings as we gain greater personal insight.
Tuesday February 7th the Moon is full in brave, bold Leo at 4:54pm. Both the Sun and Mercury in Aquarius are opposing the Full Moon, and we might expect controversy, or impulsive sparks to fly. However, I sense that Leo is strong, kind, and optimistic; able to stand up and rise to the occasion. We feel uplifted and can draw from this moon a gift of romance. Expect happy surprises! Under the Leo Moon we feel more outgoing; parties that we attend or host will lean toward friendly, good fun. Let off some steam with this feisty lunation.
Wednesday February 8th Venus enters Aries. Gentle Venus is considered to be in detriment Aries; Venus wants to re-arrange the furniture and settle in, while Mars-ruled Aries wants to get moving and try something new. Passion rules the day when Venus is in the sign of the Ram. Impulsive Aries encourages us to take risks and experience life fully.
