How To Cope With Bad Friends

We've all been there before - after making friends with an individual, we start to rethink our efforts to keep the relationship going. Dealing with negative people on a regular basis can be downright draining, and new research shows that bad friendships can even endanger your health, according to The New York Times.

"In a close, enduring friendship, jealousy, envy, anger and the entire range of difficult emotions will rear their heads," Harriet Lerner, a psychologist and author, told the news source. "One has to decide whether the best thing is to consider it a phase in a long friendship or say this is bad for my health and I'm disbanding it."

So what do you do if you have a negative friend or know an individual who constantly lets you down?

Contact our psychic line for more insight into the situation and whether your friend has the ability to change. An online psychic reading can let you know if you should move on or try to work out the issue. Psychology Today magazine also recommended trying to understand where his or her negativity is coming from to provide assistance.
