Expect the best, prepare for the worst.

No one wishes for bad things to happen, but you should always hope for the best and prepare for the worst—remember, that's a cliché for a reason. No one knows what will happen tomorrow, but you can give yourself a leg up with the right predictions. Even without a glimpse into the future, there are certain plans you should have in place to minimize surprises and problems when unexpected changes occur.

Plan for the Best

Wouldn't you love to know what the future holds? Don't fear knowledge of the future, because it's imperative for your planning. Have a psychic tarot reading to show you what might happen in your future. If you have an idea about the way things will go, you can make more specific plans. Understand that there are all sorts of factors involved, but use the reading as a guideline. You'll feel more prepared and you'll have more time to plan for yourself and your family.

Know Who to Contact

If your husband has a bad car accident and slips into a coma, you need to contact his boss, his HR department, and his insurance company. If your daughter breaks her leg or comes down with mono, you'll have to contact her teachers, college professors, or tutors.

You need to know who to contact in any given situation. Having the help and information you need will make it easier to deal with certain life changes. Think about creating a file or binder filled with pertinent information for everyone in your family.

Create a Will

What's going to happen after you're gone? You need to take care of your family, as does your spouse. Just in case, it's better to have a will in place, allocating assets and naming care providers for your children, your elderly parents, and even your pets. Without it, everyone left will end up squabbling and confused, and you don't want that.

Save for Emergencies

Since you never know what's going to happen, you have to plan for everything. Instead of being frivolous and spending on luxuries today, why not save for future emergencies? Even if you only put back 10 percent of your paycheck, you'll quickly build a savings reserve that can serve you well if you have to deal with unforeseen accidents, death, divorce, repairs, or other calamities.

Make a Care Plan

Who's going to take care of you or your spouse if you fall ill? How about your kids? What will happen to your parents or grandparents? It's hard to think about situations that would need such care, but it's imperative that you do so. Further use your live psychic reading as a way to plan for future care. You may need to think about things such as hospices, nursing home care, insurance, and long-term assistance.

Just because you don't know what's going to happen doesn't mean that you shouldn't do everything possible to predict the future. If you've ever been caught by an unexpected, life-changing event, what did you do and how did you cope?
