Always look for the positive in every situation!
Think about it.
We wake up in the morning and maybe we “get up on the wrong side of the bed” and from that point on our minds are filled with negative heavy thoughts. We are irritable and cranky. Everything seems like it is going to be a bad day. Our minds start to ruminate over things that we never worried about before.
But guess what? You can change all of that with one single positive thought.
Our minds are controlled by our thoughts, which in turn control our feelings. When we are feeling happy and centered with our inner self we skip through our day instead of struggling through it. Did you know that it takes more muscles to frown than it does to smile!
When you feel blue, try to think of something that makes you happy. Even if it is just for a minute, picture something that will bring a smile to your face and hold that thought. You will see that it’s contagious. Your feelings will shift and your thoughts will be filled with happiness, not sadness.
Our minds are powerful
The next time you are feeling like the “bad day syndrome” is creeping in, just think of anything that brings you happiness. I guarantee that it will change your day, your week, your month. It may even change your life!
