Finding peace is not an end goal; it is a practice to continue.

Often when clients call they tell me they’re depressed, anxious, bored, or suffering from some other variation of existential malaise, and regardless of the specific purpose of the call, I nearly always recommend a spiritual practice like yoga.

People usually call a psychic to ask specific questions about what’s going to happen in their career, or how a special person in their life feels about them, and so on.  I’m happy to answer those questions to the best of my ability, with the help of the Tarot cards and my empathic gift.

But, my deeper purpose as a psychic Advisor is to help you find clarity, wholeness and inner peace.  Part of that process involves our sessions, where I give you a safe place to share your concerns, ask questions that will shed light on the situation, help you gain insight, offer useful feedback, encouragement, and so forth.  But an equally important (if not more important) part of the process is what you do on your own, because ultimately you must find wholeness within yourself.  And that’s where your spiritual practice comes in.

There are many different approaches. I favor Mark Whitwell’s Principles of Personal Practice due to it being the simplest as well as the most powerful technique I’ve ever found.  Various other forms of meditation can also be used such as: simply “following the breath;” gazing at a candle or spiritual image; visualization; chanting a mantra, the rosary, or the Jesus Prayer; etc.  What they all have in common is helping the mind to settle down so you can find that peaceful place in the center of your being. It’s in this place where we’re whole, where we know that we’re loved, where ultimately we can experience a deep, abiding joy that’s not dependent upon external circumstances.

When you spend time in that center on a daily basis, even just a few minutes each morning, healing takes place, anxiety is relieved, and you will feel refreshed and strengthened to face the challenges in your life–whatever those particular challenges may be!
