Avoid Impulse Shopping
It can be difficult to stay to the items on the grocery list, especially when you are shopping hungry! That can also be said about clothes, shoes, accessory shopping. When you’re feeling the urge to shop, make sure you have a goal in mind with a set list of items needed. Don’t veer from this, as that’s when the $$ add up!
Make Yourself a Budget
You don’t need to be a tax accountant to budget and manage your money. Make a list of your bills, averaging them out each month, then factor in how much you bring home. Decide what you want to do with what’s left. It may help to have a savings pile and a fun pile, so you don’t over-do it.
Use Your Leftovers
Whether you bring last night’s lasagna for lunch or add a fresh coat of paint to that coffee table, there is something to be said about leftovers. Using what you already have in a new way is a great way to stretch a dollar.
