NOCC and Psychic Source Fund Raising Campaign
Psychic Source partners with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) to raise money – and awareness – of this important women’s health issue.
September is National Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and Psychic Source has, for the fourth year running, joined with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition to raise funds – and awareness – of ovarian cancer. Ovarian Cancer has too long been called the “silent killer,” because the symptoms and warning signs are so easy to miss. And, “silent” because there is an enormous need for public dialogue in order to increase early diagnosis and, therefore, the rates for survival.
“Ovarian cancer ranks fifth in cancer deaths among women, and yet women aren’t talking about it – not to each other, not even with their doctors,” says John Rolleri, Chief Marketing Officer. “At Psychic Source, we’ve made it our mission to start women talking by giving them access to information. When it comes to ovarian cancer, talk can save lives.”
The Talk Starts on September 4th
Starting September 4th, customers can help raise money and awareness by purchasing special NOCC packages when they call to talk with their favorite Psychics. When an existing customer purchases one of the NOCC packages, Psychic Source will donate $5.00 per purchase to the foundation. For new customers who purchase an NOCC package, Psychic Source donates $2.00 of their first purchase.
